We had such a wonderful time! The host went above and beyond to make us comfortable and our trip memorable, providing loads of recommendations and accommodations. The property is beautifully kept, so peaceful, with a beautiful pool, and such a lovely breakfast in the morning with views for days. We will definitely be back!

This was the third time we have stayed at Tulbagh Mountain Manor and it has now become a fixture on our annual trips to South Africa. We love the views across the valley and into the surrounding mountains and the walks around the orchards and up into the fynbos. The Manor sits at the head of the valley and provides a quiet and safe location. Tulbagh is 15 minutes drive down the valley and has a good selection of shops, coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants within the town and on the surrounding wine estates. Personal recommendations: go to the Tarzan Shoes factory shop, Kole & Deeg bakery, the Manley Wine Estate restaurant, and Daphne's at Duikersdrift. For walking, try the waterfall, forestry and eco trails on the other side of the valley. Mirna is a wonderful host and has helped make our stays as restful as possible.

It is tranquil and escaping from the busy world. The hostess is the friendly I have met, let alone the view and the silence. It was my best choice ever to book in there. Oh yes and don't forget about Milo and Zoe friendliest dogs ever. The establishment is clean and well maintained. I honestly felt sad when we had to. I will most definitely advice that if you in Tulbagh go check it out.

My family and I had an exceptional stay. The owner was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, going above and beyond throughout our visit. The setting was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and the entire experience felt like the ultimate escape and rest away from home.

This was an very relaxed stay and the host was very kind. Although it was only for one night the service was excellent.

We had the best stay- Will definitely see me again. Mirna is a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to accomodate us.

This is one amazing place. We were there for our honeymoon, and we slept in the room outside the main house. The view is amazing, and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean, and don't get me started on breakfast, fluffiest flapjacks we have ever had. If we are in the area again, we will stay there.

First of all the biggest disappointment was finding out in the morning that our breakfast wasn’t included, which was the main reason for choosing the place. The Rose cottage was neglected and a lot of mismatched stuff. Most of the stuff wasn’t working properly and a lot of irritations.

Amazing breakaway if you planning to stay in Tulbagh or attending a function at Mont Rouge which is basically just around the corner. Place is in quiet peaceful surroundings. Beautiful furniture, clean and maek you feel welcome. Would go back there anytime.

The view is spectatcular, the acomadation grand and the welcome real.
Highly recommended.
