We recently spent a lovely 5 nights at Musa. It is a unique boutique hotel with stellar service and food. Our room was small but beautifully appointed. One touch that was appreciated is that the terry slippers came in two sizes, one was small enough for me to comfortably use. Typically both pairs are much too large. There were also multiple special touches including delicious treats and replenished water bottles. Our breakfasts and casual dinners at Gaia were fabulous. Very creative cocktails and everything was presented beautifully. The staff are very professional. The concierge crew became our friends and were very welcoming and helpful both prior to our stay and while we were there. We'd love to return one day!

Musa Lago Di Como does not disappoint! My husband and I loved this boutique hotel. A gorgeous setting to relax and spend time with friends. We loved the outdoor veranda for breakfast and the gravel courtyard for lounging/cocktails late in the day. Incredible views and service from all the staff was over the top! A comfortable bed, plush towel and wonderful toiletries were welcomed after a day of exploring the area (and the added bonus of a Theragun!) Centrally located to see all the sites and right next to the ferry stop. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again!

First, before I say anything, the people were great ! We were here for our elopement . Our wedding took place nearby at villa del Balbianello . Location for our purpose was excellent ! If you’re looking to walk around though there was only the on site restaurants and the locanda la tirlindana which is excellent ! Not easy to get around as the street is very busy there. Our room was very very small. We were in a junior suite. But the balcony was amazing ! So getting ready for the wedding was cramped and I will say if you are looking for privacy on the balcony you won’t get it as they hold receptions in the garden and it’s open to the public and quite a popular spot. Not a bad thing just depends what you are looking for. There were a couple of downsides which explain my 3 stars and not five . First on arrival we found someone’s well used undergarments in the drawer under the bed… second, the high end hotel restaurant ROTEO in my opinion was a bit too complicated…nothing accessible to a weary traveler who is looking for an easy meal. For that you should use the other restaurant Gaia Bar which is quite good. Not to offend the chef but I think it’s important to make the menu accessible to everyone. I was not surprised that restaurant was not very full most nights. I am not a fan of chefs who have to complicate every single thing especially when it’s in a hotel where you’re sort of trapped for dinner. The other downside was confusion on breakfast. Repeatedly the waiters said “doesn’t matter it’s all included “ but when we went to check out they charged us 70 euros per night the only hotel in our 30 day trip through Italy and Greece that did that. We paid it although we were shocked about the up charge. As I said before there aren’t a lot of places to go and the food was good so it was worth it but we would have wanted to know.they removed the charge for the one day we didn’t have breakfast. And finally we got a couples massage in the spa.. part of our wedding prep. They bring in people who work for the various resorts to do this and honestly the massages were sort of a waste. We asked for deep tissue massages but in spite of perfect English the request didn’t translate . Since I was dealing with shoulder and back pain before the wedding we were hoping for a thorough massage but honestly the one that my fiancé gave me was better than what they did which actually made me feel worse. So summary , beautiful view ..nice people but not five stars. I would not stay there again I’d go somewhere with more options for food and walking around a bit.

The location is first class. The rooms and food are of a good quality. However, there appears to be a complete inability to run a boutique hotel at the price point. Service is poor to intermittent, and overall, value for money is underwhelming. To be clear, the staff are uniformly good people but they are clearly not trained to operate in a venue at a €1500-2000/ night price point. It’s clear the Italian Lakes are generally expensive and this may be why the price point is what it is but as a seasoned traveller this hotel is not VFM.

It’s a lovely hotel in a quiet spot, however they also take bookings for outside weddings, which means residents are not allowed to use the outside space or the restaurant and have noise until late. For a boutique hotel with only a few rooms and spaces, this amounted to selling the facilities twice - to the residents and to the wedding party. We were confined to our room while celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, which was a shame. There was no prior notice. Please check before booking.

Divine! Such a warm welcome from the staff, where nothing is too much trouble. Clearly a great team who exude competence and professionalism. We were guests for dinner. We ate in Roteo...well what can I say...divine, delicious. The recommendation of wines by the sommelier were absolutely fantastic. The food excelled - from combinations, to presentation and story round the ingredients to the taste. A culinary destination not to be missed.

We spent four days in Lake Como and Musa Lago Di Como was the prefect hotel. With only 12 rooms, it felt intimate and opulent. Our room epitomized luxury with lovely products and spectacular 360 degree view of the lake. The property- outdoor gym, restaurant, pool were all beautiful. The staff was very attentive too- with suggestions of how to spend our day and arranging transportation around the lake and to the train station. I can’t image staying anywhere else when we return to this majestic area.

...я всегда думал, что лучшая туалетная бумага - польская. Теперь знаю, она итальянская, такая как в отеле Musa. Не только этот предмет, но и виды на озеро, завтраки, подушки, сантехника, парковка, качество и внимательность сервиса здесь тоже наилучшего качества. А ещё у них интересная модель бизнеса: кроме основного здания, есть несколько отдельных вилл и апартаментов, которые управляются by Musa, в одной из них мы и жили. Видимо, случился overbooking, и нас поселелил в паре километров, но это была такая чудесная квартира на первом этаже Villa B., что просто мечта! Даже была сауна, и три маленьких спальни, и большущий телевизор, и понтон, с которого я прыгал в холодное озеро. В общем, Musa - более чем рекомендуемое место для отдыха на Комо. А ещё здесь пристань, к которой швартуются озёрные трамваи.
