We had the pleasure of visiting the Knossos Palace in June last year. Tickets can be purchased from the booth or online. Also if your group is coming without a guide you can wait at the guides bench and one available guide from the museum can take your group. The circuit is well defined for a self paced and the visit is well worth the money if you want to immerse into the Minoian history and Greek mythology

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic beach hotel. Living in a villa with our own pool made the experience extra special. The service was great, and the food was consistently fantastic across all the restaurants.

Had the worst experience last night, the main bar had a DJ playing music, he should have been aware of his audience,, between 40-60 year olds, yet he played music suitable for a party in Malia for teens..crazy and way too loud.shame on you.

Just returned from a 9-night stay at Knossos Royal Resort. While the room was a bit dated with a small balcony (hence 4 stars), this resort is perfect for couples and families seeking a relaxing getaway. The resort is impeccably clean, from the lobby to the beach. The rocky beach makes entry into the sea a bit tricky, but the view is stunning, especially from the seafront rooms with private pools. The food was excellent, with fresh options at the self-service restaurant and top-notch service at the Mediterranean, Greek, and Italian à la carte restaurants. Breakfast at the VIP beach bar was a highlight, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. A big shout-out to all the staff for being welcoming, polite, and making this one of the friendliest hotels I've stayed in.

The hotel, its services and amenities are fabulous. The staff is really friendly, polite and they really cared about us. The room where we were living was comfortable and beautiful. Every meal in the restaurants was delicious and the drinks of their bars were fresh and nice. The hotel by its self it's in a gorgeous place surrounded by sea with bright sunsets. I would definitely recommend it.

I had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Knossos Royal in Crete. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly and professional team. The hotel is stunning, perfectly maintained, with lush gardens, beautiful pools, and breathtaking views of the sea. My room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure my comfort. The food was a real highlight: varied, delicious buffets with fresh, local ingredients, and a staff that was always attentive and kind. A huge thank you to the entire team – from the reception to the waitstaff, the entertainers, and the housekeeping – for your kindness, availability, and professionalism. We spent 10 nights in Knossos Royal and it really is a magical place, the setting is beautiful and the hotel itself is very well laid out and maintained. The food was exceptional, the best all inclusive food I've experienced. There was plenty of variety, dishes were well presented and everything was very tasty. Baklava was a particular favourite of mine and up to now I never liked this sweet, Knossos Royal changed my mind. We tried each of the four separate restaurants, all were excellent with the taverna being our particular favourite. The staff of Knossos Royal were all superb, professional, friendly and without exception a delight to deal with. They are a credit to the hotel, making our stay highly enjoyable and stress free ??. Nous recommandons cet h?tel. Tout est sur place et bien pensé pour que l’on puisse passer un super séjour. Nous sommes venus pour un voyage en amoureux mais nous reviendrons pour un voyage en famille tellement nous avons apprécié ! Wij komen nu al voor de vierde maal , naar dit Hotel. Het is steeds weer thuis komen. Dankzij het personeel , voel je echt op vakantie . Daarom , willen wij iedereen graag bedanken . Mister Kostas met zijn Team aan de receptie , die ons steeds bijstond met raad en daad . Ook Mister Ileas en zijn Team , zorgen steeds , dat je , een geslaagde vakantie hebt. Wij hebben ook de kans gehad om Mevrouw Elena , de Manager te mogen ontmoeten. Als er problemen zijn , is het bij deze mensen waar je , altijd terecht kan , wacht niet , tot thuis , om jou klachten , dan neer te schrijven , regel het ter plaatse ! Het eten is er nog steeds , gevarieerd en lekker , de restaurants moet je gedaan hebben ! Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel ! Het Hotel en kamers zijn steeds perfect onderhouden . Wij zien ook dat het Hotel zijn tijd heeft gehad ! Maar vanaf eind september , gaat dit Hotel volledig gerenoveerd worden!! Daarom wordt er nu , hier en daar wat bijgewerkt om dit seizoen door te komen. Respect , want de werkmensen , als ook de managers , zetten zich 100% in , om jou verblijf zo fijn mogelijk te laten verlopen. Wij hopen dat de nieuwe eigenaars , dit concept met zijn werknemers mag overnemen , want dit is denken wij een succes formule , het is steeds thuis komen . Langs deze weg iedereen bedankt , om er voor te zorgen dat wij een heel fijne vakantie hebben gehad , en nog steeds (twee dagen nog) . Tot de volgende keer.
