Excellent Very amazing so clean beyond my expectations

We stayed at Ndau Lodge in June 2024 and will be back again! It was my first trip to Nkhata Bay and the lodge was perfect. Huge comfortable bed, in a clean, spacious and beautifully decorated room with an ensuite. The lodge has a calm and serene atmosphere, with a bar and restaurant on site with excellent food. The rice porridge for breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the butter fish, pasta, and vegetable paella too. A wide range of options of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. We enjoyed a boat trip during our stay and had relaxing evenings with drinks down at the fire pit. The staff were friendly and attentive during our stay, and are on hand to recommend activities (like the boat trip or a safari). The tide of the lake was quite high when we visited, which meant that each night you could hear the waves gently on the shore as you went to sleep - it was incredible! Waking up to the sunlight dancing on the water as you drank excellent coffee was the perfect experience - I can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful, quiet property. The staff were extremely accommodating. The food was delicious (I recommend the spaghetti bolognese!). It is about a 25 minute walk to downtown which wasn’t a problem for us.
