Away from the hussle and bustle from east bank/downtown Luxor this gem is perfect for our trip. Located 15 minutes from the valley of the kings and the ferry across to Luxor city. Priceless breakfast by the pool. Super friendly staff. Could use a sign outside as we arrived in our rental car after dark. Friendly neighbour's came to the rescue after asking them directions. Without asking for a tip unlike the guys in downtown Cairo asking for money for "watching" our car in a free public parking spot. But that's all in the game.

Had the most amazing time at The Nike Compound, everything was perfect and the staff make you feel so welcome. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel helped us to hire bikes and arrange a hot air balloon (which sadly couldn’t fly due to weather, but that is just one of these things that can’t be helped) Rooms were comfortable, pool was lovely and the view from the roof top is incredible. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again when back in Luxor

Un vrai coup de c?ur pour ce petit h?tel de charme à l'ambiance familiale, du c?té ouest du Nil, donc à l'écart du tumulte de la ville et entouré de bananiers et autres cultures agricoles. Si vous cherchez un lieu paisible, calme pour vous reposer au bord de la piscine en sirotant un délicieux cocktail de fruits du jardin attenant, c'est le lieu parfait. Les propriétaires Mahmoud et son épouse allemande sont adorables et de bon conseils. Tout comme le personnel toujours aux petits soins pour vous. Bref, n'hésitez pas si vous avez l'occasion de passer qlqes jours à Louxor, c'est un endroit parfait. A peine parti, je regrette déjà...

simply heaven all things are great .if you want to clear your mind u should visit this place .in the middle of green fields with nile view.totaly safe area with very welcoming and kind locals.food in the area is very vintage and true egyptian taste

Great little hotel on the West Bank - which is the more laidback, more down to earth side of Luxor. Staying on this side may be a bit ‘rougher’ than the east bank (city side) but the people are lovely. Our stay at Nile compound was made all the more comfortable and convenient by the staff member Mohammed Ali. Mohammed helped us and answered all questions we had regarding the many sights to see on the West Bank. We are very grateful to him in making our stay a pleasant one. Thank you ??

Peaceful place on the bank of the Nile away from the busy areas where you can relax. The grounds and views of the Nile are beautiful. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and happy, especially Ahmed (nephew of the owner) who was lovely to me and my son and really looked after us when we went to have a look around the west bank. The owner and his wife were also lovely and we felt very safe there. You can get food there and they can organise cars and trips. If you like walking, you can walk and get the ferry or one of the many independent boats across to the east bank. Although it is away from the sites of the east bank, it is quiet and peaceful and you will appreciate that at the end of a busy day of sight seeing and haggling. Would definitely return.

Un lugar perfecto para descansar tranquilamente. Es un lugar familiar donde puedes pasar tiempo con los due?os. El Desayuno está buenísimo y el personal es súper bueno y atento. No te sentirás acosado por propinas. Está situado en la parte oeste Del Río así que tendréis muy cerca el Valle de los Reyes, etc. si vas en crucero está lejos a coche aunque relativamente cerca del lugar donde se toman los Ferris para cruzar el rio.

Very nice hotel. Best breakfast I had during my stay in Egypt. Very clean, nice pool, big room. Staff is so helpful to organize trips at very good and fair value and that is very remarkable, and also if you need anything they will adjust and provide perfect service. Strongly recommended.

The owners did a really good job with this hotel! It is charming, calm, quiet, has a pool and a great view over the river and the city! Don't be put off by the location on the West bank, this is an advantage if you want a pieceful place to escape the noise and chaos of busy Luxor. The suite we stayed in has a kitchenette and a wonderful terrace where you can relax in the evening, enjoying the city lights. The public ferry to the East bank is 20mins walk or 10 by vehicle. The personal is very kind and friendly, the breakfast and the food in general was so tasty! We loved staying at the Nile Compound!
