My experience at Ni?os Hotel Fierro could not have been better! My brother arrived at Ni?os around 8 a.m. after a very early flight from Lima. We were greeted warmly at reception and invited to sit in the beautiful courtyard area, where we were immediately served a hot cup of coca tea (much appreciated since it was raining and a little chilly). Our rooms were ready upon arrival, and they too were beautiful. The rooms are all different, and one of the greatest things about the hotel is the personality of it: it is obvious someone took great care to design a hotel that both feels like home and will give you a memorable, unique Cusco experience. While there is not an individual heater in the rooms like you might be accustomed to in the U.S., there are more than enough warm, heavy Peruvian made blankets for the well-appointed and comfortable bed if you do get a chill. Ni?os was the first place we stayed in Peru, and throughout the rest of the trip, my brother NEVER found a place he enjoyed eating more. We had dinner and breakfast here (once we ate in the courtyard, and once in the dining area), and the food was thoughtfully made and very tasty. A unique, healthy abundance of delicious food! If you don't enjoy a meal served here, you are exceptionally hard to please (like I am - and I LOVED it). My regret is that I don't have the names of the friendly, talented, and professional women who served us during our stay. Everyone, from front desk to kitchen, was wonderfully friendly and patient and very good at what they do. THANK YOU! The hotel also has secure baggage storage if you are going trekking, and will arrange taxi transfers for you as needed. Lastly: when I booked, the e-mail confirmation offered an extra service where you could purchase a little extra gift for a traveling companion that would be waiting for them upon arrival. These are geared toward a romantic partner (flowers, etc.), but I was traveling with my brother - so I chose what was described as a piece of tres leches cake. I selected this option and sent a note, via e-mail, to accompany the piece of cake that would be waiting in my brother's room when he checked-in. And it was just as Ni?os said it would be - but better. The note was there in his room, the cake was there...but it wasn't a piece, it was a whole, beautiful, extremely delicious small cake. It could have lasted us several days, and my only other regret was that we forgot to carry it with us when we left on our Inca Trail tour. But wow - the cake was incredible, and made in-house by Ni?os staff. We really enjoyed this hotel, and I'll certainly stay again next time I am in Cusco!

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel mit charmanten Zimmern und sch?nem Atrium mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal - bei Taxi-Organisation, sehr frühem Check-Out, etc. Nettes und gutes Frühstück. Nur rd 15‘ zu Fuss zur Plaza de Armas. Hab mich auch in der Nacht in dem Viertel und zu Fuss am Weg sicher gefühlt.
