My stay at the Nob Hill Inn felt wonderfully antique and charming, like stepping back in time—especially enjoying those cozy breakfast omelettes on rainy mornings, which gave off such cozy, nostalgic vibes reminiscent of eating in a little cave hideaway.

I came into town for Dreamforce and was *delighted* by my stay at Nob Hill Inn. The decor is gorgeous and the rooms are super spacious and living room-esque. My room had huge bay windows with ample sunshine and the windows opened so I could catch a crisp breeze. The fireplace is beautifully tiled and functional (electric) which was so cozy. There was a separate room with a desk so I could work and a sofa for unwinding with some TV. 10/10 overall and we will def be back for Dreamforce 2026…to be quite honest, I may come back with my family! The staff is also super lovely and can accommodate early check in and late check out. Fab restaurants in the neighborhood, too. When I think about staying at a generic, giant hotel instead of staying here, I feel sad! It was so nice to have such an oasis to come back to after a hectic conference!

Very clean and comfortable room with a fridge. Would have preferred a kettle in the room instead of having to go to the reception area.

?????????? Charming, Quiet, and Full of Character I loved staying at Nob Hill Inn. The new owner was super nice and kind, and apparently the place was recently recently renovated. It’s cozy, clean, and full of vintage charm — like stepping back in time in the best way. The staff were kind and helpful, and the whole place has this peaceful, old-school San Francisco vibe. My room had antique furniture and a comfy bed, and the location couldn’t be better — close to cable cars, Union Square, and Grace Cathedral. It’s not flashy, but it’s warm, quiet, and unique. I’d definitely stay here again.

The Inn is under new management, and is undergoing a beautiful and extensive renovation. Seems like the lobby area and the apartments are newly renovated as of June 2025. I stayed in a 2 br apartment and it was amazing. Had a kitchenette so I could prepare my own food since I have dietetic preferences. The apartments and rooms closest to Pine Street may have some street sounds, but the apartments and rooms in the back are amazingly quiet. The Inn is a few blocks from Union Square, and one block down from Grace Cathedral, so its in a very convenient walkable area to Chinatown or other locations that tourists and business folks frequent. The apartments on the west building have walk up stairs (so be aware of it) and the rooms in the east building have an elevator.

The Nob Hill Inn is in a great location --- pleasant neighborhood, easy walking distance to Chinatown and Lombard Street, and two different streetcar lines. The staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are gorgeous, and the price is reasonable, especially for San Francisco. We loved it and would stay again any time.

The Inn has it's age, but it's a small, charming and cosy place to stay. The location is golden and it's close to major sites. The staff is helpful and service minded and great at explaining where to go and not to go in the city. The only downside of the Inn is the key system that is to the old school side. The bathroom is also of a little bit weird design, but it's more quirky than annoying.
