Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Oakover. I'm sorry if you were not happy with your room however, I would like to ask why none of these issues were reported to me during your stay. You were here for 4 nights and not one mention of any issues. When you checked in I advised you to let me know if you needed anything at all, but despite seeing you every morning for breakfast nothing was said. The room that you were in has a relatively new hotel quality mattress that I myself have slept on recently. We use blankets on top of all our mattresses (under the mattress protectors) to provide extra protection for the mattress from stains, not for support! Moving to your next point, how could there be dust inside a kettle that is boiled several times a day every day! This simply is not true as we empty and clean kettles after every use, and they are descaled every couple of months. I'm not sure what issue you had with the shower, although we do say to run it for a couple of minutes to give the hot water time to come through. The shower temperature is controlled by a mixer dial which I have checked and this is working correctly. We operate one of the best Guest Houses in Weston-super-Mare as can be seen from the consistent 5 star reviews we receive on TripAdvisor. However we accept that you are entitled to your opinion but strongly disagree with your comments and claims.
