Fully kitted out and exceptional quality. Luxurious bathroom. Ideally located for an easy walk into the centre of Hanmer Springs. The only reason did not give 5 star was the bed was somewhat hard for our liking.

We have travelled to different places around the world and this has to be one of the best places we have come across. Everything has been thought of. Clean, luxury fittings, washing machine/ dryer, dark block out curtains, quiet …the list could go on. Close enough to walk to all Hanmer Springs has to offer. We will be back for sure.

Fabulous place to stay very relaxing and peaceful. Beautifully presented property to extremely high standard. A real treat. We would definitely return and highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Oakview. Beautifully decorated, had everything we needed. Walkable to town and the thermal pools. Comfortable bed and linen. Great selection of teas and milk in the fridge. Will definitely be back.

Inspired transformation and newly renovated . Wheel chair access for one room I think the Koru . Every detail has been considered. There is space to enjoy nibbles and drinks. A nice way to park up even in the heat of summer this was cool and a welcome sanctuary.

We stayed in Oakview for the final two nights of our five week visit to the South Island. It is stunning accommodation, with everything you could require for a luxurious stay. Very well equipped kitchen area, fabulous bathroom with washer and dryer, comfortable bed and living area and a lovely outdoor sitting area. It is very quiet and within easy walking distance to Springs and town centre. Would thoroughly recommend.

Oakview is simply glorious. One of the best places we’ve stayed anywhere with an extraordinary attention to detail. The fittings, the furnishings, the appliances, even the crockery - it’s all perfect, and just a 10 minute walk from the baths and town. This place comes with everything - dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, oven, microwave and stove - even a Nespresso and a great range of tea, all supplied. And the bathroom! It’s huge with a double walk in shower dual sinks and luxury toiletries. The most astonishing thing about Oakview is the price - for the location and quality Oakview is an absolute steal.
