Isolé dans la montagne, cet h?tel a beaucoup de cachet à l’extérieur. Tout change dés l'accueil: personnel assez distant dans cet h?tel vieillot. Chambre de taille convenable, mais beaucoup d'équipement endommagés, literie très ferme et éclairage insuffisant. Bonne wifi. Salle de bain avec douche dans baignoire à escalader, présentant la particularité de ne pas permettre aux 2 occupants de la chambre de prendre leurs douches l'un après l'autre: il a fallu attendre 1/4 d'heure pour avoir de nouveau de l'eau chaude Service au bar et dans la salle de restaurant très lointain; c'est au client de se déplacer pour être servi, pour payer, .... Salle de restaurant immense faisant un peu "cantine" avec ses tables alignées. Après que le Chef ait pris notre commande notre commande pour diner (passée après explications du Chef sur le contenu des plats), il nous a été signifié qu'il n'y avait finalement qu'un seul plat de disponible.... Petit déjeuner buffet standard à choix limité; ?ufs hyper cuits mais les plats sont à peine tièdes dés l'ouverture de la salle

A beautiful location overlooking the amazing Paro valley, this hotel makes its mark before you've even checked in with a warm, friendly welcome on the doorstep that just sums up Bhutan. A great place from which you can explore the town of Paro, the Paro Dzong and the brilliantly curated National Museum. The food was great too with a superb breakfast buffet and a host of traditional dishes to try. The only downside was that it was my last two night's in this spectacular Himalayan kingdom...I would have happily stayed here for many more nights. Maybe next time!

Excellent Hotel in Paro. very clean and good bathroom . It had an oil heater plus electric blankets. The staff very friendly and helpful. The dining area was large and it had a good variety of food for both the breakfast and evening meal. The cottages overlook the town.

It’s a lovely hotel with very large area and the rooms are well maintained. One can move around in the property and enjoy the nature. Staffs are very helpful and food is excellent. Rooms are well maintained and Paro airport is nearby. Lots of entertainment by the hotel staff.

This hotel is outside Paro and up a hill which overlooks the town. There is a central block with bar and restaurant and the main accommodation is in chalets in the grounds. The food was standard Bhutan tourist food but, on the last day, they changed the menu which was refreshing. The rooms were quite large with quite cold and small bathrooms. Everything worked. Just adequate power outlets. Nice to have a safe an side table. The crazy paving paths leading from reception to the rooms are poorly lit at night and unsuited for cases with castors.

A 50 year old heritage hotel. Rooms had the necessary amenities. Rooms were comfortable with a veranda facing the forest. We didn’t have breakfast as early starts. Dinner food was ok. Staff and service was very good. We’d recommend it as a 3* hotel.

Poor hotel, very disappointed. Our room was basic but clean, unfortunately we could clearly hear the people in the adjoining chalet next door. We tried to order food to our room on two occasions and were abruptly told “no, the restaurant is too busy”, what’s the point of offering room service if it’s never available ??? There’s an onsite cafe that was never staffed and didn’t offer any snacks or cakes, it was useless. We had staff chatting outside our chalet at 5.30 am !!!! Lastly the restaurant buffet food was the worst we’ve eaten in Bhutan. Unfortunately we would definitely not recommend this hotel :(

A beautiful, historic hotel just outside of Paro. The setting is immaculate, with lovely views into the valley, and nothing but the sound of crickets to disturb you. The level of detail in the decoration and design is incredible. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel at a superb location, great food and fantastic service by a warm and dedicated staff. Keep up the good work, guys!!! This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in and one never feels like checking out from here. We hope to get a chance to stay here again
