I attended a friend’s wedding at this venue and had a truly lovely day. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the food and drink were genuinely delicious. As a wedding venue, it’s hard to fault; everything seemed to run smoothly, and the bride and groom looked completely at ease. However, my experience with the accommodation was disappointing. After receiving an email to pay for my room, I got no follow-up information. No details about parking, breakfast, room type, or check-in/check-out times. It left me feeling a bit lost before arrival I stayed in a glamping pod, which had a broken radiator. In the autumn, this made for a very uncomfortable night. When I reported it the next morning, the staff didn’t seem surprised, and I overheard another guest mentioning the same issues. Breakfast was served between 9–10am. We arrived at 9:30am and made a plate, but when I went to refill my coffee at exactly 10am I found everything was already packed away. When I returned to my table and was still eating, staff began clearing tables and even tried to take drinks that I was still drinking . I understand they may have been preparing for another event, but the rush came across as quite rude. Overall, the venue is stunning and ideal for weddings and events, the accommodation and guest experience outside of these needs some attention.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful venue and experience. Only criticism is that you couldn't really see or hear the wedding ceremony due to chair placement. Not sure how much of this was the choice of the couple but it needs to be thought through a little more. Otherwise, beautiful and well appointed venue.

Attended a friends wedding last year. Beautiful countryside location, the accommodation, food, staff and service was excellent throughout. Really enjoyable, everyone had a fantastic couple of days. My only complaint was having to order drinks via an app which seemed a bit strange when the bar was a few meters away and we couldn't get it to work anyway. Apart from that, I would highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous day for my daughter's and new son in law wedding. Stayed in Mulberry house and boys stayed in Mae's y Haf house night before. Both amazing accommodation with tea/coffee, breakfast items and prosecco included. The wedding next day was beyond our expectations. The planning, food, drinks everything was just perfect. Dylan and all staff so helpful, professional nothing is too much trouble. They just want to make your day the best, most memorable day ever and they succeeded. Thank you for making all our day, especially Sam & Grace's the best day xx

The venue is amazing, could ask for better service, everything was perfect for my friends wedding day. Isaac, of of the bartenders is the best bartender I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, a mention also goes to Rhys, harry, Luke and Adam. Best venue I have ever been too

Attended a family wedding on a beautiful August Friday ( it rained on Thursday and Saturday so we were very lucky). The venue is beautifully decorated with wonderful floral displays. It isn’t the biggest but they make full use of each space at each stage of the day. Service was excellent, particularly Leslie in the bar , and the food was magnificent ( there was quite a wait for the main meal but it was worth it and let’s face it we had no other plans.!) The evening Greek buffet was a particular highlight all topped with spectacular fireworks. A perfect day for the happy couple as well as everyone else.

Wonderful venue for a wedding. We think it’s the best venue we’ve experienced as wedding guests. Excellent staff, service, very clean comfortable room. Can’t fault anything about it. Beautiful views/area. Well done to hard work of staff for enabling a lovely day for our friends!

I had my wedding here on Saturday and I have to say everything was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. Everything was what I imagined it to be and more! All the staff at Oldwalls Gower were incredible but I have to give a special mention to Caren. As soon as we met her before the wedding she put me at such ease to leave everything in her hands and on the day she couldn’t have done more for us. She went above and beyond for not just us bride and groom but all guests and ensured that everything was perfect. Even as something as little as giving us a text the next day to congratulate us again, I really appreciated that! Caren you are such a credit to the team and you are a wonderful person. Thankyou for adding a special touch to our wedding day

We got married here and it was the most special day. It was made more special by Caren Davies and Nicola who took charge and led our day! From the start until they did the handover they couldn’t have been more helpful! Caren took to my step daughter and had the most beautiful bond it felt like we had family there more than staff! Nothing was ever too much trouble! She even made a reel of our special day which was so beautiful and touching! We both felt like Caren and Nicola made our wedding and couldn’t speak more highly of each of them if we tried!
