We had two separate short stays here at the beginning and end of our stay in Sri Lanka and were very pleased with our choice. It is a lovely house within fairly easy walking distance of the beach. Deb and her husband made us very welcome and it was a great bonus to have their free shuttle service to and from Colombo airport. Highly recommended.

Deb and Joseph really looked after us in Sri Lanka - we stayed in their beautiful comfortable guest-house, really appreciated the cuppas and delicious breakfasts, the home-away-ftom home feel, and the itinerary that Deb put together for us, and Joseph took us around. He spoilt us with little treats like experiencing coconut milk from coconuts, buffalo curd and honey, and suggesting lots of extra activities. His cheerful face greeted us patiently after each activity. He took all the effort of travel away, and was so helpful. Thanks Deb and Joseph.

We did an 11 day loop from Negombo through Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Ella, Tangalle, Galle and Colombo. We normally travel independently but decided to use Olideb to drive and guide us and book our accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble for our guide. Everything worked out perfectly and we highly recommend using Olideb for your Sri Lankan tour.

De gastvrouw Deb is erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en zorgt elke morgen voor een fantastisch lekker ontbijt!! De luchthaven shuttle (gratis!) is prima in orde. Heerlijk zwembadje en prima afstand naar strand en restaurants. Prijs/kwaliteit in fantastisch!!! Hartelijk dank voor de fijne dagen !!

Five friends on a budget 16 day holiday. We contacted Deb who worked with us to set an active itinerary, then came up with a wonderful package to pull it all together. Everything went seamlessly. The van was perfect for our size group, accommodation exceeded expectations, all visits to National Parks, Ancient Cities, important temples and other places of interest went without a hitch. Joseph does an amazing job negotiating the crazy Sri Lankan traffic, and looked after us very well while on the road. We did lots of walking, mostly uphill and always to interesting places, saw wonderful animals and birds and ate delicious food. Olideb Gadara was the perfect guest house to bookend our holiday. Wonderful guesthouse in a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood. A comfortable air con room and a very welcome pool in a lovely garden setting.Deb and Joseph super hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was generous and varied. Hosts organised great tours and guides for us. We hope to go back to this amazing Country and will definitely stat at Olideb Guesthouse again .

The most amazing people that have met while on my trip to Srilanka. They made me feel special, celebrated my birthday which was very expected..The rooms are neat and clean and breakfast is delicious. The hosts Debra and Joseph are two beautiful souls. I am really glad I got to stay with them. I am definitely visiting them again. One should choose this place to stay as it's economical and we'll maintained plus their hospitality is handsdown the best i have experienced in a long time. I got a home away from home. Thank you so much Deb and Joseph for everything. See you soon. Excellent for solo travellers, couples, families the place has rooms to accommodate every requirements. The interior has been curated with lot of attention to detail and it's beautiful. The feel is amazing and the human touch is great. I would highly recommend one to book this place for an unforgettable experience.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits en début de voyage au Olideb Gedara et nous y sommes retournés à la fin de notre séjour de deux mois. Nous y avons été accueillis très chaleureusement, comme si nous faisions partis de la famille. Notre chambre était spacieuse, confortable et propre. Il y a un jardin et une piscine où il fait bon relaxer après un long voyage. Les déjeuners sont incroyables et nous avons été accueillis par un bon thé à l’arrivée et même un à notre départ avant l’aéroport! ?? Les h?tes sont une mine d’informations pour bien débuter un voyage. N’hésitez pas à y venir, vous ne serez pas dé?us.
