A little gem of a place to stay. Really quiet and peaceful location close to restaurants and bars. Calm and relaxing rooms with lovely toiletries and large private balconies. Super friendly hosts and staff. Breakfast a mixture of pre-order and buffet style. It was plentiful and tasty. Only little niggle was beds were too firm for our liking.

Great quiet location with lots restaurants nearby. The hosts were warm, kind, and very helpful. The pool is lovely. The breakfast with homemade organic food was fantastic.

Great people, kind and friendly. You feel you have come home and the welcome is loving, as if you have never left the place. Excellent service, exquisite breakfast and delicious food, highly recommended. The only place in Kefalonia where you can experience Greek hospitality. Keep it up!

We had a wonderful stay at the Olivemare. Due to a delayed flight we did not arrive till late evening but was met warmly and promptly shown to our stunning rooms. We were then given a lovely tray of wine and homemade cheese. A perfect start to a wonderful stay. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the staff were so friendly - including the cats! Although the hotel is small I would highly recommend the Olivemare for those that want a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We loved this place. Beautiful view, lovely personel. Excellent breakfast which you can pre order and it’s served when you arrive. Walkable to the beach and restaurants. Quiet place and nice pool.

Excellente localisation, walking distance de Katelios, avec sa plage et ses terrasses au petit air du bout du monde. Accueil familial chaleureux, nous ont spontanément proposé de rester au bord de la piscine après l’heure de Check out, pour attendre notre ferry. Chambre blanche simple mais agréable, terrasse privée très agréable. Lieu calme , un havre comme chez soi. Belle piscine

The worst part was...staying for just one night! The place is amazing: quiet, well decorated, charming. Surroundes by olive trees, Marilena treata her guests like family. You feel truly welcome once you step into her place.
Amazing breakfast, relaxing swimming pool, well locates near to well organized town of Skala... A 10 out of 10!

We were completely blown away by Olivemare. The owner Marilena is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is fantastic, and the rooms are super stylish and comfortable, with a gorgeous private patio area. There are only 5 rooms, so the pool never feels busy, and it's a great size. Breakfast was fabulous with delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice, cheese from the owner's goats, freshly-cooked eggs, and daily specials such as fava, and spinach pie.
