Clean Older motel but still ok

Good property, clean, very tidy, well provided with microwave, small plates, bowls, knives, forks and spoons and tea towel. They even cleaned the bowls and spoons and knives for us each morning which was very nice.

Tv had to be turned on usign the side of the tv without the remote, spoke to staff and because of the language barrier it was difficult for them to understand what i wanted

I had a very comfortable stay the Staff were friendly the room was clean and tidy and it was pretty central to every thing, I will be staying here next time i am in town.

There was a smell (that was not pleasant) no large dinner plates, no detergent to wash cups/ glasses, and I realise that I am away from home but the worst pillows I have ever used had a very sore neck in the morning. Plus very very noisy

Budget accommodation at its best here, Definitely not worth what you pay for Suitable for a labours but not for a family Although it was clean, looks as though no update since 1970, noisy & Customer service is definitely not high on the list on arrival.

And older style motel this place is unpretentious and obviously long in the tooth. But it is cheap, located centrally (as in central Quenbeyan) and as it's not expensive if you are wanting to visit Canberra and have your own transport you may be well advised to at least consider staying in this or one of the other cheaper motels nearby. It's literally 15 minutes or so to get into Canberra. Speaking of nearby the motel is just a stroll from a supermarket, small shopping centre and several eateries. Service was fine and the place was clean and everything worked. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate parking. As I said it's obviously an older establishment but if you are just looking for a place to sty in the area this is a good option.
