Hotel is good and is in a good location. But it is not a five star hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious and the staff is friendly. Laundry service is very good! Would stay again there but would try also a different hotel To be very good or excellent following issues to be fixed: - room service - Missing lack in detail. They clean properly but miss out to replenish shower gels, shoe spoons,laundry bags,etc... - atmosphere - missing a good atmosphere in all hotel areas. Specifically the lobby and its bar. Possible also due to its outdated furniture which is in all the rooms and hotel areas. Russian style... - restaurant - never went to eat there mainly due to the given sadness in the restaurant, old style room, nobody in there... - food menus- expected a better menus mainly as didn’t want to go for dinner each day but was first as the hotel didn’t have any small snacks - jacuzzi- was dirty and requested to have it cleaned - no coffee machine in the rooms

Very Clean and location is about two blocks away from the squares. Good value for the expense. The breakfast array was the best I have seen in Cluj. I will stay again. Reception very friendly and professional. Some carpets need replacing on the main floor but that is not that important. The main dining room is very open. Feels right.

This is an overall good place to stay. It is out of the way from a few things, but on a short walk you can find just about anything. Staff was ok, rooms were clean. Breakfast got old real quick but the dinners were good. I highly recommend going to the spa and booking a massage. Andrea is great. Though I will say that the staff was also quick to help with the luggage.

This is my first visit to Cluj Napoca, but third time to Romania.. I admit that I'm a big fan of the country.. anyway, we decided Opera Plaza Hotel and it was a very good decision. Very good location, Location, Service Free parking, breakfast, all in all I Highly recommend. Enjoy.

Instayed here for one night whilst visiting Cluj for a second time. The staff were brilliant from the very start with the receptionist speaking excellent English and being really welcoming. My room was large and comfortable. Large bathroom with bath/shower. Good wifi. Large bed. Quiet at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide and varied range of options. This is an excellent place to stay near the centre of Cluj. Highly recommended.

Nice location but poor services. Perfectly located ?n the heart of Cluj-Napoca near by the famois Opera House the this hotel is shocking the client with the big 5 stars crowning the entrance. But I thank that the only thing of 5 stars here is the quality of the client. The rest is very modest. Only one elevator, small rooms and not even a tea/coffee machine in the room. And to crown it all the breakfast is very poor. I thank that this could be classified as an excellet 3 stars hotel.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they allowed us to check out very late which made our stay way more comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool area as well. Other than that, we didn't feel it had 5-star amenities, but for the inexpensive price we were happy with it overall as we just stayed for 1 night. It seemed fairly clean. Not a bad option at all, just could use some major major renovations in the rooms.

On a passé un séjour très agréable dans cette h?tel je-vous le recommande sans hésitation . Petit déjeuner très copieux , le personnel très sympathique . Une piscine très sympa , spa etc très proche de centre-ville .

Het is een gewoon hotel. De voorzieningen zijn prima maar de kleuren verraden dat het een ouder hotel is en niet gemoderniseerd. Het ontbijt is goed genoeg maar niet echt uitgebreid. Voor een zakelijk verblijf is het prima maar je vergeet het snel weer.

La cama es bastante cómoda, como ha sido habitual en todas mis estancias en este hotel, y la habitación siempre muy limpia y con una climatización excelente. El desayuno es variado, con productos de calidad. A mi mujer y a mi nos encanta los crepes y tortillas que solemos pedir al cocinero, un se?or muy profesional. Se echa de menos zumos naturales exprimidos. El personal, sea de recepción, de limpieza o del comedor, ha sido siempre muy amable y educado. Me ha gustado mucho, especialmente, el detalle de que una se?orita de recepción me hablara en espa?ol en cuanto descubrió que es mi idioma. Teniendo en cuenta que no se rumano y mi nivel de inglés es bajo, lo agradezco profundamente. Tengo algunas críticas constructivas. Se debería comprobar el estado del mobiliario de la habitación. En nuestro caso (hab. 301), la llave del armario estaba rota y era algo complicado abrir las puertas. La silla para el equipaje tenía alguna barra de madera rota. Desgraciadamente, durante el fin de semana tuvimos que soportar ruidos de obras (taladro) incluso más allá de las 9pm. En recepción nos dijeron que eran en el 5o piso, dos plantas por encima, pero parecía que estaban trabajando al lado de nuestra habitación. Queriamos un fin de semana relajado pero no pudimos descansar como nos hubiera gustado. Durante la estancia en la piscina climatizada pasamos algo de frio. Descubrimos que uno de los grandes ventanales estaba abierto y no se podía cerrar. También descubrí otra ventana abierta por donde entraba un aire helado que yo mismo cerré (fuera hacía 4o). Deben cuidar estos detalles, son fáciles de evitar. Ademas, no es la primera vez que nos pasa algo así en la piscina, como he indicado en otro comentario.
