Super Hitel in the centre of Hawes Very welcoming. Lovely room and smart TV. Breakfast was excellent and opportunity to get 20% off meals and drinks at the neighbouring pub was unexpected.

Bathroom in need of repair. Cobwebs on ceiling in bedroom. Peeling wallpaper in bedroom. Location excellent and breakfast very good

Perfect location. The Cocketts is a lovely hotel with lovely quirks, which we expected. If you’re expecting smooth finishes and levels floors, choose a different hotel or place even! We had a spontaneous last minute meet up with friends. The Cocketts were fabulously accommodating. Our room was lovely, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, breakfast was made to order and delicious, we have no complaints. Super convenient and we will definitely return and recommend.

Last minute booking Booked the day before our stay, this place offered very reasonably priced accommodation. The parking is actually on the street if you can find a place, or in a local car park opposite the property The property itself is clean, rooms have everything you need, and breakfast limited to cereals, toast, spreads, hot and cold drinks and full English, but was very good. Room is a great size, unusually two chairs in the room, WiFi and TV with good range of programmes including Netflix access. En suite was good and shower great. Couple of maintenance issues, towel hoop came off as I touched it, not secure but slotted back on, paper peeling in a couple of spots. Bed also felt like it needed tightening up a bit, as they sometimes do. Felt ‘loose’ for want of a better description, but was comfortable and we slept well. Also lovely lounge area with cafe / bar. Lovely place to have access to, as well as tables and chairs in front courtyard Staff we have had contact with have all been very cheery. This place is very central being on the high street itself in Hawes.

Couldnt fault the hospitality and breakfast but the room was not the cleanest, with behind tv and inside drawers, incredibly dusty, dirty. Also damp was evident near door. Facilities definately needs upgrading in the rooms. Hosts were very attentive .

Genuinely one of the worst stays I’ve had. My room was noisy but the cleanliness of the place was the real issue. Bathroom was incredibly mouldy. Even the carpet leading in to the bathroom had started to rot. The painting and decorating can only be described as shabby at best. Needs some money investing into this room. The place was also very untidy. Boxes left lying about the place. Wouldn’t go back and to be honest I feel ripped off. ￡50 room at best.
