B&B davvero molto accogliente, con un piccolo pianerottolo riservato, pulizia della camera ottima e personale gentile e sempre disponibile.

Papali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby.
We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ...
The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ...
Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ...
Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, especially for the price, Carmello was a fantastic host, being welcoming and friendly and providing a good hearty breakfast and tips for the city. He doesn't speak much English, but I know enough Italian that we were able to communicate fine. I would stay here again.

Recommended - Excellent central location yet quiet with no street noise. Clean, well kept rooms. Owner is helpful (Italian speaking only) and provides a full breakfast. Very useful is directly opposite bus to airport but finding parking can be difficult. Recommend nearby Ideal parking garage for €20/night.

Papali exceeded our expectations. Our host Carmelo provided excellent and enthusiastic guidance to all that is Catania. A highlight of our stay included the ample morning breakfasts that featured typical regional pastries, both sweet and savoury. Our comfortable and quiet room proved a welcome and restful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend!

Carmelo was great, very helpful and waited for us after hours.

The hotel was located in a busy area of the city. Finding parking was difficult unless you are willing to park about 10 minutes away. The hotel host was nice and provided us with early check-in. The room was large enough with a balcony overlooking the back street. Bathroom was decent. Breakfast was hearty. Tons of restaurants nearby, and within walking distance to the historical area. Airport bus stop was close by as well. A good stay!
