We stayed B&B at the Pefki Deluxe Residence in Halkadiki (Pefkori) and oh wow what an experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, so clean and modern but small with only around 20 bedrooms - but that was lovely as it was more intimate and peaceful. The staff were amazing and especially Aurora who works 7 days a week! She definitely made our experience at this hotel so special. She is the loveliest and kindest person I think l've ever met and always went above and beyond for us. The pool area is small but was perfect for the amount of guests staying with plenty of sun beds. We stayed in September when the kids go back to school so we had a brilliant time with just adults (a few babies but they slept most of the time!). And finally the location was just perfect. The beach is quite literally a stones throw away and bars, shops and restaurants all so close ranging between 5-15 mins walk depending where you go - but not too close to hear the commotion. Absolutely perfect stay and will defiantly will be back in 2026!!!!

This place was beyond our expectations!!! The staff took very good care of us. Special thanks to Dorothy at the front desk - one of the kindest ladies we have met and we received nothing but VIP service from all the staff. Rooms were always clean Thank you for creating beautifull memories for us .Will cherish all friendships made . Amazing location food service Definitely come back again!

Super mooi hotel, centraal gelegen in een mooi dorpje. Personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en in voor een praatje. Zijn hier nu voor de 2e keer geweest en komen zeker nog terug. Kamers zijn tiptop in orde. Speciale dank aan Dorothy, mede door haar gastvrijheid kwamen wij nogmaals terug! Hopelijk tot volgend jaar!

Wat een fijn hotel aan het randje van Pefkochori! Het is kleinschalig, netjes en persoonlijk – precies wat je zoekt als je even helemaal tot rust wilt komen. De kamers zijn mooi en comfortabel, en bij aankomst werden we verrast met zoetigheden, een fles water en zelfs een fles wijn van het huis – een warm welkom. De dame bij de receptie liep mee naar de kamer en legde alles rustig uit, wat erg prettig was. Er is een tafelmodel koelkast met echt vriesvak, ideaal als je zelf wat dingen koel wilt houden. De schoonmaak werkt via een handig systeem met knopjes bij de deur: zolang je voor 15.00 uur aangeeft dat je wilt dat de kamer wordt schoongemaakt, regelen ze het die dag nog. De schoonmaak is top: elke dag een schone kamer en frisse handdoeken. Ook fijn dat er strandhanddoeken aanwezig zijn – scheelt weer bagage. Het zwembad is heerlijk: rustig, schoon en met genoeg fijne plekken om te liggen. Een echte uitblinker is de dame bij het zwembad: een échte gastvrouw. Ze doet alles om het je naar de zin te maken, denkt mee, brengt spontaan een extra tafeltje als je iets kwijt wilt en is altijd in voor een gezellig praatje zonder opdringerig te zijn. Kortom: een warm, verzorgd en gastvrij verblijf op een prachtige locatie. Wij hebben genoten en zouden hier zó weer terugkomen!

Super mooi hotel, heel luxueus en proper. Het ontbijt en het eten was dik in orde en lekker. Bij het ontbijt en aan de bar staat een super lieve vrouw die je in de watten legt en zorgt dat je niets te kort komt. Ze komt ook uit haar eigen met je praten en vraagt naar je dag etc. De receptionist was een niet zo vriendelijke vrouw.

Prachtig leuk schoon kleinschalig hotel. Loopafstand van strand, supermarkt, pinautomaat, winkeltjes en tavernes. De dame bij het zwembad/bar doet erg goed haar best voor iedereen. Ze komt praatje maken is vrolijk, echte gastvrouw. Ontbijt is geweldig voor ieder wat wils. Vanaf 9uur ontbijt vonden wij wel wat laat. 1x gelunched bij hotel was ook heerlijk. De dame aan de receptie vonden wij niet echt het zonnetje in huis. Ze deed wat ze moest doen maar daar was dan ook alles mee gezegd. Verder hebben wij echt 5 heerlijke dagen gehad. Wanneer loop je nu vanuit je hotel kamer zo het zwembad in !!

Het hotel was fantastisch. Het personeel erg vriendelijk. Er werd goed schoongemaakt. Alle personeel deed enorm hun best. Er was voldoende keuze bij het ontbijt. Alhoewel je zelf wel vaak moest vragen om bij te vullen. De handdoekenservice was heel fijn. Onze tv in de woonkamer was kapot. Maar het is hun helaas niet gelukt om deze binnen de 10 dagen te repareren…

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. We stayed in a upper room which I think was a good choice . The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy with soft pillows. Air con was a godsend in 30 plus degree temps . Rooms cleaned regularly and this is first time I've seen the system whereby you press a service button by the door and it lights up outside to let the cleaners know if you require new towels or bedding etc. The only problem we had was with the shower water not going down the drain properly and it backed up and flooded the floor but after a word with reception it was quickly resolved with no more issues . The breakfast was beautifully laid out with a wide choice from bacon rashers , little sausages , scrambled or omelette, boiled eggs, fresh fruit , greek yoghurt , meat slices , cheese slices , salad, croissants , cakes , bread for toaster , nuts , granola raisins etc etc oh and hot drinks or juices . The staff at the pool bar were very friendly and courteous at all times . The snack bar food during the day was really nice , we ate numerous times round the pool and never once left anything on our plates, the chef really knows her stuff. Prices weren't too bad but I just wish they'd stocked half litre bottles of beer instead of the 0.33ml which for a mythos was 4.50 I think. They had Heineken on draught but again it was for 0.4ml and it was about 5.50 euros, food was approx 11/12 euros . The hotel is situated on a main road which got very busy during the bank holiday weekend we were there but you didn't really notice much noise whilst sat round the pool or in your room. There are plenty of shops , supermarkets within a few mins of the hotel with the main ones down on the beach road about 6 mins walk away straight across the road from hotel and down the road opposite. We found it more expensive down in pefkohori beach for food and drink , we went to hanioti just up the road and it was so much cheaper up there, it's 5 mins in a taxi or 20 mins walk , we went a couple of times and enjoyed it more than pefkohori to be honest. We hired a car for a few days and I have to say that a trip to afitos is a must . It's about 30 mins drive up the road and it is worth the visit . All in all it was a very relaxed holiday , the only negative thing I would say which has nothing to do with the hotel or tour operator etc is that there is a very large influx of people coming into that area from eastern Europe as it's a mainland destination that is reached easily by car . The beaches were packed from morning till night and they were still on the beach until after 8.30 / 9.00pm . July and especially august when the greek and Italian holidays are would make it a nightmare I would imagine. All in all we couldn't fault the hotel and the travelling etc . Pefkohori is the last stop when being dropped off do expect a good two hours on the coach , we made about 6 or 7 drop offs before ours , but of course we were first on the bus on the return .
