Room # 2 ~ 1 x Night ~ booked via Booking Dot Com Room smelled MUSTY on arrival - like a Charity Shop!!! Walls are 'Paper Thin' - be warned!! A Kettle in the room but no glasses or cups. Bathroom SO dated - No Mixer Taps installed on Sink or Shower The Shower cord was so old it did not bend and if it was helped to bend it 'Kinked' and stopped the flow of water!!! Personally we thought the room was Overpriced for what was delivered. The building photographs make it look much newer than Reality!! Never Again....

We were in a large room with ensuite - very comfortable. Most rooms were much smaller and many did not have an ensuite. The upstairs kitchen was adequate - oven did not work but microwave did. The breakfasts were fairly basic - choice of cereals, milk and fruit. Tea and coffee plentiful. Large fridge. We hired the place out as a group. I would be happy to do this again.

Many thanks to a wonderful host who organised a room for us on about 2 hours notice. Price, excellent and will make many forego much more expensive places when they see what comes with an evening at Penmarric. Bed, comfortable, room, big enough for 2 and all thier gear. Faciltiies, clean, functional and beautifully appointed. All amenities, kitchen, dining room, lounge and breakfast area all spotless and filled with warm and inviting furntiure and accessories. Breakfast assortment was good and all was fresh, a delight to partake of. Overall, for our stay it's a five for a five star establishjment and for our hosts efforts to make our stay as evenless as possible. Go back? in a heart beat. Cheers.

Kevin is friendly and helpful, leaves clear instructions which make everything easy. All you need is supplied, including breakfast, hot drinks. Cleanest linen which smells lovely, bathroom spotless, and use of a beautiful sunny kitchen. Plenty of blankets including electric, and heating. Quaint old house with heaps of character. Treat yourself next time you pass through Cambridge and spend the night. Linda from South Africa
