My wife and I stayed here on vacation in July 2024, and really loved this place. The rooms are large and comfortable, and we loved the balcony overlooking the courtyard. The courtyard is a highlight for us....it was a beautiful setting for breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant, it is away from the hustle/bustle of lakeside, the food and service are outstanding, and the setting is just really beautiful at sunset. Our waiter Denis was funny, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful....felt like an old friend. This is a quick walk down to the lake, it was really nice to have a quiet place to retreat to during the day. We highly recommend taking the e-bikes to Vintgar Gorge, the ebikes made this an easy ride and the trip is beautiful. The staff here are helpful and accommodating, the breakfast that is included is really good and has a ton of options, the food is all local and sustainable. For dinner--you must try the truffle pasta. We had it twice in three days it was that good. We can't recommend this place more highly!

If you’re looking for a great place to stay, don’t skip out on booking a stay at the Penzion Berc. From the fantastic staff (who saved my passport for me when I left it behind), to the cozy rooms that felt like they were out of a fairytale, out of every place we stayed on our travels (6 different hotels) this one by far had the best breakfast. It was conveniently located just a 5-min walk to the lake. Oh, and book a dinner reservation in advance for their steak house. You won’t be disappointed as the food is really really good.

Fabulous alpine style hotel. Up a slight hill but easy path to walk minutes from the lake even for us pensioners. Pretty gardens everything immaculate outside and in. We had a huge balcony facing south and enjoyed the late autumn sunshine. Very tastefully decorated good beds and a powerful shower. Small fridge with water and wine. Coffee machine and kettle. Breakfast was a feast with fresh bread and fruits and croissants to set you up for the day. Staff were all delightful. Highly recommend a visit here ??

It was an amazing time. The surrounding is beautiful with the Lake, the River Sava, the historical buildings and the great people. The Pension Berc ist the best choice. The rooms are beautiful with a lot of space, the breakfast is perfect, free electric bikes in good shape and each single employee IS motivated, friendly and suportive. I added three additional days and will come back. Thanks a lot for this perfect time .

Wonderful, very comfortable, spacious, peaceful and authentic guesthouse centrally located just a few moments beautiful stroll from Lake Bled. Luca, the owner extends the warmest welcome...his love of hospitality is evident. Delicious buffet breakfasts include cereals, freshly-made yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, cold meats, cheeses, breads and pastries and scrambled eggs. This guesthouse hums with quiet efficiency and comfort so you really don't want to leave.

Chambres spacieuses disponibles (1 lit double + 2 canapés convertibles), un peu à l’écart du bord de lac de Bled et de son agitation, mais facilement joignable en moins de 5 minutes à pied. Contenu du frigo minibar inclus dans le (conséquent) prix. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Des vélos à assistance électrique (pour adultes seulement :( ) sont mis gracieusement à disposition, pour des tours de lac encore plus rapides. L’établissement héberge également un steak house au nombre de couverts limités : il faut réserver au moins 2 jours à l’avance.

We just finished our two night stay and had a great experience. Our room was extremely clean which is very important to us. The hotel is an easy, short walk to Lake Bled. The breakfast in the morning was very good. They also have E-bikes for the guests to use free of charge and are a lot of fun to ride around Lake Bled on. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Bled.

We stayed here for 3 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable and plenty large for the two of us, with a couch, table, and even a small desk area. The hotel is in a nice location, not right on the lake, but a few minutes of walking away. We had free parking for our car, and we especially enjoyed the e-bikes they had available for use; we rode them around the lake. Breakfast was included as part of our stay; it was good with multiple options and one sunny morning I enjoyed eating it on the outdoor patio. The hotel also has a restaurant, but we didn't eat there. Our room rate was not cheap but didn't seem excessive for a resort town. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would happily return.

Charming place to stay in Lake Bled! We spent two nights after a multi day hike in the Julian Alps - and couldn’t have picked a better place to recover. Spacious room with large balcony. Attentive and welcoming staff. Thoughtful benefits such as free use of e-bikes, beach towels for the lake and complimentary mini fridge. Quiet and peaceful location with patio and gardens but still only five minutes from town where there are some huge unappetising hotels. Yummy breakfast buffet. Recommend without any hesitation!
