My wife and I had a “Christmas Kick Off” at the Post House Inn last weekend. It included dining and a stay at the Inn. The food and service were fantastic (shoutout to our server Ryan). He was knowledgeable and made us feel special. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Special thanks to Eilish and the Inn team for making us feel so welcome. They took care of us from check in to check out. It was a wonderful and festive experience. We will definitely be back!
My granddaughters came to Charleston and found the Post House. They raved about it so we made a reservation for Christmas dinner. It was such a beautiful room , food was amazing, service lovely. We ended up going back the next night for another amazing experience of freshly made pasta. The Chef kindly adjusted the dish to accommodate the fact that i don’t eat meat. Tonya, Joe, Lexi, and John were perfectly attentive and it was a joy spending time with them. An overall wonderful experience. Will definitely return on our next long weekend visit.
Stayed at the inn & ate at the restaurant as well. Our room was beautiful, bed & linen excellent! Unfortunately the phone in our room didn’t work, and due to some kitchen maintenance we could get a full breakfast, which was not a big deal for us (they brought up some baked goods & coffee) - but the maintenance workers were up on the roof right above our room at 6am which woke us up much earlier than we expected to get up (we are from Washington state so with the time difference made it a pretty early wake up). The restaurant was great, we both enjoyed our meals & Mike our server was excellent.
Make the Memories. Post House - from our Family of Gals venturing to SC, I truly can't express my gratitude enough! The Staff were Outstanding. From my 1st call to book & desire to surprise my aunt w/ birthday cake delivery, onto evening of our Reservation. Each personal there went above & beyond! Gracious, kind, attentive & I hope indulged in the cake thereafter too. ;-) Aesthetically - the Venue is Charming & so welcoming. The Food - from sweet cornbread to smashed potatoes, we tried, we shared, All Delicious. Treat yourselves to a visit! This is an experience Not to be missed.
This place is exquisite! So quaint and charming, great decor. Food was very good. Don’t bother with $11. cornbread if you want to share it — very tasty, but silly small for the price. The arugula salad accompaniment with the filet was so salty it was inedible and tasteless. Surprising, given the amazing, crispy potatoes on the same plate. My guests enjoyed the pork with peaches. We finished off the meal with the banana pudding and chocolate cake —— off the charts yummy!!! Server was very attentive.
Stayed here one night for an anniversary trip and loved it! This sweet hotel is tiny, under 10 rooms, and they are each so unique. High ceilings, tons of natural light, luxury accommodations. Slept SO WELL here!! The restaurant on the ground floor is not to be missed, and the breakfast the next day was really great. We even borrowed bikes and rode down to the water. The historic homes in the area are lovely, and it really has that sweet small southern town feel. The staff were really welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved this place
Great ambience in quaint charming historic old village location Food pretty good, not five star. Not a lot of food choices. I preferred my friends ricotta toasts with mushrooms to my shrimp dish. Waitress was very lovely, but hostess was unfriendly.
exceptional charm and care
I am dreaming of when I can stay again! Absolutely exceptional service, accommodations, and offerings. My friend and I rode their bikes around Old Village, ate an amazing dinner on site, and took our nightcaps up to our room. We were impressed by the comfort of the beds, cleanliness, and the above and beyond service (ex: breakfast in bed!). Thank you, Post House!
