Wonderful stay at a magnificent b&b! Gracious, helpful and attentive hosts!

Everything was great. Upon arrival, someone was there to greet you. Many happy faces to share your day with. The room was clean and perfect for a night's stay. If you need more room, there are plenty of inviting rooms to lounge in. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect size. I was pleased.

Beautiful historic inn, gracious and friendly owners, clean and comfortable. Fantastic home cooked breakfast and coffee cake snack at night.

My husband and I just had the most wonderful stay at the Ellis Inn. The interior and grounds are absolutely stunning. Paula, Tim and Trevor are so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with them. Breakfast was fantastic. And so were the mid afternoon treats! And the entire place was immaculate. I have never stayed in a place with a cleaner bathroom. Wow! We had originally wanted to stay in Burlington but were challenged to find something. As it turns out, this was a much better option. It was easy to get into Burlington but nice to come back to tranquil surroundings at the end of the day. The owners have achieved perfection!

A most stately property with a friendly and congenial two-generation host family. And large enough to have all of the privacy you desire. Spacious throughout with many inviting places to sit and relax or enjoy the books and games available there. It has a bar and a kitchen is available to you, but no restaurant on site; and not within walking distance. Although the hosts are most helpful with information on ordering food from local restaurants that can be delivered.

This place is fabulous. This is our first time in Vermont. The Ellis Inn is exactly what we thought of when we planned our trip here.

We just had a wonderful two-day stay at The Ellis Inn. Paula and Tim are wonderful hosts and they have such a very nice property that they take such good care of. I can truly say that they made us feel very much at home and almost a part of the family during our stay. The breakfast meals were outstanding. Our visit was so nice that it was a bit emotional and sad to leave. Hoping someday we can get back up that way to stay with them again. The Johnsons Bridgeville DE

Tim and Paul were excellent. We arrived one day late due to weather conditions. We did not really know where to go but they helped us figure it out. Because of them, our experience was fabulous. Thank you!!

The property was charming, and I wish I had more time to take in the Ellis Inn's other amenities. I felt bad that I missed the original breakfast time on my first morning there due to jet lag, but Paula was so accommodating. The room was great, and the bed was a little too comfortable. It is an excellent location if you are visiting northern and central Vermont but be advised that parking can be a little tricky there. Though that could also be attributed to my lack of familiarity with the type of rental car I had. Overall a great experience.
