In the reception they was not friendly, they was hiding behind the desk they didn’t ask how was your stay. When we left the hotel not even say hello same when we back to the hotel.
The room was beautiful but the mattresses was uncomfortable, the mattress was lying down they need to change it.
The hotel room
Pro:
- Location is good, u can go visit the main spot by walk ( not that close, walk by 20 mins to access to main spot) (but may come back by tram)
- can check in early
- Room is enough space
Cons
- The hotel lobby feel so dirty, the sofa like didn’t wash in decades
- the duvet is really just a blanket, very very short and thin, feel so cold during sleep (u need extra paid for air-con by the way)
- the bed sheet is like used for decades again, it’s very rough and uncomfortable
- no 24 hours reception service, Caz there is no people in 430 am.
Overall is ok
The location is a bit far from the City center, but, it is still acceptable. The breakfast is great with lots of variety. However, the room ventilation is not good enough.
Everything was fine, the room was very big and comfortable. The only thing is that there is no AC. Fortunately the weather was cool during my stay even though it was august
Great location , 7 min walk to I.P Pavlova trams or metro station then a few stops from Charles Bridge very clean hotel and rooms .
The following very important to address
1-No coffee in the room only tea
2-Shower cubicle very tiny you cannot even turn round inside , not suitable for adult at all ?.or large size person.
3- Breakfast very poor selection for the price paid , never book with breakfast in this hotel.
Thanks
Terrible Hotel Experience – A Memorable Stay for All the Wrong Reasons
My stay at Prague Centre Plaza was a deeply disappointing and dehumanizing experience. We arrived at 00:30, only to find no receptionist available. Left waiting outside with two sleeping children, we received no acknowledgment or care from the hotel’s management.
When the staff member David eventually showed up, his demeanor was sarcastic and disrespectful. He mocked us by saying "Use your hands!" when I asked for help with the luggage. His attitude was not only unprofessional but downright insulting—completely unfit for someone working in hospitality. Frankly, his placement would be better suited to bathroom cleaning than guest relations.
The rooms we were given were shockingly uninhabitable, more suitable as storage spaces or worker dormitories than for paying guests. It felt intentionally degrading. After lodging a complaint the next day, other staff members did move us to slightly better rooms—but they lacked air conditioning. In sweltering temperatures, we had to keep the windows open, enduring unbearable street noise all night long.
As for breakfast—it was a disgrace. Though it ends at 10:00, by 9:30 most food was gone. When I asked the staff about eggs and cheese, she responded coldly: “Sorry, everything’s finished.” And I wasn’t the only one left hungry; many guests were sipping coffee with nothing else available.
This hotel undermines the reputation of Prague’s hospitality. Appalling service, demeaning behavior from a rude staff member, substandard rooms, and a breakfast that evokes pity and frustration. A place to avoid if you want even a remotely pleasant stay .
