Our one night stay was very disappointing. The room was very tired. The tv did work but we had no remote to operate it. The staff were very pleasant but seemed very inexperienced and struggling against water pressure issues, laundry issues and maintenance support. By contrast dinner and breakfast were very good and again staff were very pleasant. We will look elsewhere on our next visit to Dumfries.

We usually come to.premiere inn dumfries! For over 10 years now. We are always looked after well. We usually eat there as well. Heather looks after us every time. She's very kind and makes time to talk to us.

Stayed in room 107. There was a foul smell when we entered the room. There was black mould around the radiator and extractor fan. The hallways had not been hoovered in what seemed like months

The staff were first class, and I’d like to thank the reception and restaurant teams for both the evening and breakfast service. I’ll be back soon and hope to get the same room and table.

Hotel was in an ideal place for our needs, however this hotel is going the same way as most other Premier Inns, downwards in quality and no longer 'Premier'. Most people want somewhere nice to eat and drink but Premier Inn rarely now provide this, the restaurants are neglected and becoming a little dilapidated, if open at all. The restaurant food was just average, but Angela our server was very nice and helpful. The inn itself was clean but certain things are now missing, i.e. glasses for cold drinks, a decent number of hot drinks, toilet brushes to name just a few.

Great stay, rooms are clean and beds are very comfy. Was served at breakfast by Angela who was a lovely women and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel the night before a ferry crossing. Our early morning wake up and breakfast were made far more comfortable due to the excellent hospitality of Angela and Claire in the restaurant. We were travelling with our 3-month old whom Angela went out of her way to make comfortable. Top work, ladies! Thank you.

Yet another great stay at this Premier Inn. On this occasion we needed to keep some medication in a fridge. On phoning for advice Georgina advised this could be facilitated in the reception fridge. ?? We also needed to book in early but couldn't find a way to add this to our existing booking, or get through on the phone so emailed our request. We got a reply straight away advising this had been added to our booking & we could pay the extra ￡15 on arrival. ?? As usual we had excellent service from all the reception, cleaning & restaurant staff. Special mention to Angela, with her lovely helpful manner, who arranged for our cool packs to be kept in the kitchen freezer, overnight, for our journey home. ?
