We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep.
The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
Would happily stay again.

Lovely friendly place to stay ,staff were amazing and couldnt be more helpful.Only downfall was they did not do food ,we had a busy schedule and had to go out very early for breakfast ,no private parking but could park on street at side of property also no lifts so no good to people who are disabled
Top place and top class staff
Really enjoyable trip and the staff were incredibly helpful. Very clean and a perfect location in the heart of Hillsborough. The pub downstairs is a really nice establishment as well.
Staff were welcoming and helpful. Mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable, TV signal was very poor so we were unable to watch anything in the evening. For the cost ￡75 a night it felt over charged given the uncomfortable bed.

Great value stay
Clean comfortable room above a very friendly pub. Although a couple of miles from the city centre it is on a main road with frequent trams and buses. Great value compared to other hotels in the city.
