We’re just on the way home from our second stay at oxalys, and another fab week. Newly refurbished apartments for 2025 are very comfortable (they were already comfy last year, but a bit tired) and are perfect for relaxing in after a day on the slopes (along with the pool). Kitchen is well equipped for cooking , or there is the option ordering pizza or eating in at il gusto on site. Easy access to the rest of town and the plentiful other restaurant options. Great location for ski in / ski out (a couple of different ways to access the slopes), and there is a very handy ski shop on reception. We had a small problem with one of our bathrooms but staff were very responsive. Would highly recommend!

Our 5th year staying at l’Oxalys and it never disappoints, we love it! Our newly refurbished apartment was lovely although a few features - such as the shelf above the bed which means you can’t sit up in bed - hadn’t been thought through. The apartments are well furnished with decent kitchenettes and bathrooms, although we were sad to see that we no longer had a bath, just showers. The jacuzzi baths that they used to have were perfect after a day on the slopes. The views are great, the ski shop is fantastic, the spa is small but works well, food at Il Gusto is always good and the staff are always super helpful. The only things we would change - if they could keep the pool area open later (so adults can enjoy it peacefully when all the kids have left) and maybe invest in some bigger towels and bathrobes, it would be perfect!

Just returned from a fantastic week at L’Oxalys in Val Thorens. The high quality accommodation is in a perfect location allowing a ski in/ski out experience. All the staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring that we had a great family holiday. Thanks!!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Great to have ski fit on location. Outdoor bar had great views. Enjoyed using the raclette for a great family night in. Easy to walk up into the village. Good variety of eating places nearby. We also made good use of the spa facilities which were clean and not over busy

L’hygiène du spa n’est pas à la hauteur des attentes : jacuzzi suroccupé, entrée de personnes extérieures en jean chaussures, pas de tuyau de rin?age dans le hammam, pas de serviette obligatoire dans le sauna. Appartement sous équipé en vaisselle : 4 bols pour 6, pas de grand verre, pas de saladier.Manque aussi un kit cuisine (sel/poivre/sucre) Dommage parce que personnel réception parfait et loc ski au top et accès aux pistes direct.

Really pleased with our stay at L’Oxalys. The reception team were very welcoming on arrival, and we were all really pleased with our apartment. For 6 adults there was enough space to not feel on top of each other. The kitchen had all you needed for a self catering apartment and everything was spotless clean. We chose to eat in the apartment on a few nights as the space was so relaxing. The beds were comfy, and the shower pressure was the best we have ever experienced in a hotel! The rooms were always warm and cosy and lovely to have the balcony too. The on-site restaurant has a typical mountain menu, and it was nice to have the option on-site. The bar was cosy and welcoming and the team were always very friendly. We all enjoyed the spa area, it can get busy after the ski lifts have closed as expected but still space for everyone. We found the green run behind the hotel the best for our group and this took us to the top of the beginners area very easily each morning (you need to cross the Rue du Soleil at the bottom by taking your skis off but it’s no trouble and easier than the blue outside the hotel for any beginners). We found access to the village easy and the Sucré Sale bakery at the bottom of the village was a lovely morning treat around 5 minutes walk away. Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations and we would be happy to stay again.

This was our fourth time staying at L'Oxyls, as as before, it is excellent. The staff is friendly and organised an after hours check in for us due to horrible traffic on the roads. The room was great with a small kitchenette with everything we needed to cook when we wanted. The best thing is the location. This is truly the best ski-in., ski-out hotel that we've ever had. It means you can easily get first runs for powder without any stress or even pop in one day if you like. Considering we did not have much snow one day, we snowboarded in the morning, rode into our hotel, had a hammam, then went up on the hill again to go to Folie Doux. We love the hammam and sauna and it's in a beautiful area overlooking the snow. However, I feel the pool could be warmer, as well as the spa. We just came from Switzerland where they advertised many of the pools as 34c. Having it warmer would have meant more people in the pool, and fewer piled up in the other areas. We also ate at the restaurant, which was also very good. One other thing is perhaps stating more clearly that we can get extra towels if we request them. Overall, a wonderful hotel. We will be back.

Beautifully simple ski in and out accommodation with enough space for large family group to spread out. Bedrooms typically french and tiny but beds and linen of great quality. Duvet not too thick as is often the case in mountain chalets. Shower leaked all over floor but there was a note explaining this (could have provided extra towels for this each day maybe? ) Shower pressure was amazing and always hot. Two ground floor bedrooms had shower in bedroom and not as a separate en-suite (this could be particularly tricky for some sharers?) Plus those same 2 bedrooms shared one loo. I wish this had been stated more clearly in the description. Lounge area large and comfortable with plenty of seating and dining space. Kitchen set up the best yet in self-catering accommodation. Spa area lovely to take advantage of in evenings. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Restaurant is fantastic for sunny lunch outside and evening atmosphere buzzy and fun. Menu perhaps a bit limited but all well executed. Rental ski shop in reception had high quality kit and were happy to help and change if necessary. Perfectly placed to be on piste and only a quick 3 minute walk on slopes to elevator leading up to main shopping centre. Would definitely come back.

Excellentes vacances en famille avec nos 3 enfants adultes à l'Oxalys. Nous avions un triplex avec 3 chambres + sauna. Grand appart sur les pistes. Le resto, le ski shop au sein de la résidence ainsi que la livraison possible de pains et croissants le matin facilitent grandement le séjour.

We had a a spacious well equipped apartment with a great view of the Peclet massif. Bedrooms were very comfortable, and a good shower room with plenty of hot water. The only black mark was the tiny toilet room. We made full use of the spa, swimming pool, sauna and hammam. It was nice to wander down to the pool in the provided robes and slippers. We ate once in the restaurant and found it ordinary so we ate in the apartment most nights. We tried the bread delivery to the room for breakfast on our last day and it worked really well. I tried a massage for the first time in my life and really enjoyed it. The ski room was very spacious and warm and led directly to the slopes. I found the staff all welcoming and friendly and they reacted quickly to our requests. This is not a cheap stay but I would be happy to come here again
