General conditions
The room was spacious but seemed not completed as some sockets were not installed and wires were visible. The shower room is small.
It had an amazing nature view to the forest and the chipping of the birds was a great experience.
The neighborhood was safe
But the property has no restaurant. The internet in my room was only available at the window side and it was very unstable.
The swimming pool was dirty.
The hotel doesn’t have any English speaking attendants. Quite difficult communicating with the staff if you don’t know English
The room didn’t have some basic things like shower slippers, shampoo, soap and lotion. The serviettes at the kitchen end, the coffee marker or boiler. When I arrived it lacked cutlery and dustbin until I asked for them

The pool would have been nice, except that it's still being built. The spa would have been nice, except that it was broken. The wifi would have been nice. But it took them 3 days to finally get us a wifi code, after us asking repeatedly. When we got it, the connection was slower than dial-up in the 90's. The air conditioning was nice, but we were asked to turn it off every time we left the property to save on electricity which meant coming back to a hot apartment, and when the city power went out their back-up generator couldn't run the AC as well. There's no restaurant anywhere within walking distance. If you have your own car, you will be fine for food. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a safe location. The cleaning staff may come in and rearrange your stuff while you're out looking for food, though. It took us hours to find all our stuff again. But we're a family of 6, so others might have a different experience.

This is our 4th stay in the last year at this luxurious apartment. One word that best describes our experiences at this incredible gated facility is “EXCEPTIONAL.”
The rooms at Massou were modern and very spacious. The hotel overlooks a nature forest with green trees and a beautiful park. From the rooftop, you can enjoy sounds of nature while enjoying morning breakfast. It also has onsite 24/7 security. On arrival, we were received by the amazing help staff who served us fresh natural juices and assisted with our luggage. A highlight of our last trip this November, 2023 was to see many professional international soccer players at the facility. Customer service was great and to have laundry machines, in-room Air conditioners, free Wifi, steady electricity and water flow, a fully stocked kitchen with a gas cooker, fridge and microwave in a spacious 3 bedroom unit made our visit wonderful. I’ve stayed at many top hotels in Cameroon. Maison Massou in Bastos, Yaounde, is the only one I've experienced that provides the best luxury value for money without compromising quality and security. A total surprise and delight! This experience also explains why we are repeat customers.

Résidence soft et accueillante propre et luxueuse. Je me suis délectée de chaque seconde passée dans ce lieux. Mon souffle a été littéralement coupé face à la beauté de la nature à travers le mont Febe. C'est avec un grand enthousiasme que je renouvèlerai l'expérience

Un frigo en panne plus de 48H ,le ménage 2 fois en 5 jours pas de changements de draps obligés de reclamer pour le apier tolette le wifi fonctionne uniquement vers la porte d'entrée les petits dejeuners servis sans boissons chaudes on a recus des invitées pendant quelques heures et la on nous demande une surfacturation c'est n'importe quoi le propriétaire qui ne réponds pas à nos réclamations
