When we arrived at the Riad we were greeted by a kind staff member, they provided us with a card with contact details and the location of the Riad. They also told us about the scams and dangers nearby and offered to bring us places if we felt unsafe. The room was spacious and clean but the bathroom was a bit small and the door to the room was loud but other than that i have no complaints. I will be staying here again!

So glad we were upgraded!! Riad Nouhal hosts a rooftop and small plunge pool... traditional decor throughout. Local shops and market square within walking distance. Staff were very helpful. A relaxing break was achieved, would stay there again

We didn’t have any issues there. In general the service is good even if there is nobody in the reception thus they give you your own keys of the main entrance and your room. As a suggestion it is needed a sign “Riad Nouhal” but anyway, if you follow the location on Google Maps, you will be in.

We stayed at the riad nouhal for 4nigjt and 4day .it was situated at rue da la kashbah literally everything was like 10 to 20 min walk from the jama El fina to the bahia palace basically the heart of maarakesch it was a very busy area and there was plenty of shop around the riad the riad it self was and old tradition building situated up an alley way was quite difficult to find but once we knew how to get there it was all easy straight after it had multiple room available across 3 floors .the main ground floor and a swimming pool and the the top terrace was open and served breakfast .breakfast was just simple orange jui witha choice of hott drink loaf bread panchake and flat bread served with butter jam cheese cream marmalade honey overall for the price paid it was worth it .the only downfall was the room was very gloomy and the toilet seems like it was cramped getting in and out but water was available all time. It did lack the basic as in there was no kettle provide or water .so if you do visit any riad please remember to bring your own travel kettle and bottle of water as there water is not likeable to drink and taste weird.the staff were all friendly and accommodating and made u feel welcome .room cleaning was available every day so if you were out and came back u would of found that your room was tidied up .this is a basic riad so don't expect grand treatment and stay as you would do in a hotel.i would deffo stay here again as I dont expect luxury in life just a simple guy.

Llegamos al Riad con dificultad y al llegar nos llevaron a otro “Riad” según de la misma empresa, pero en condiciones peores, había muchísima humedad, la cama estaba hundida y pues al final cancelamos al día siguiente y nos fuimos a un verdadero Riad.

My personal experience was bad. The word RIAD in Morocco means a traditional Moroccan house with a small courtyard, a garden or a small pool of water in the middle; with rooms around it on two, three or four floors. The listing page states; ‘On site parking’ There is NO parking here as this house is in a small narrow street. I had rented a car, so this hotel was definitely not for me. Then the listing page reads, ‘24 hours front desk’.. there is NO receipt here, let alone a ‘desk’.. you have to knock at the front wooden door hard to get someone to open it from the inside. Some old lady in traditional clothes opened the door for me but couldn’t speak a word of English. My wife and I stood in the street while she phoned someone to come and translate. So it was another false statement on the listing page. The shower, the toilet and the wash basin were packed together next to each other in a tiny space. The bedding was stale and did not look clean. The listing page states, FRONT DESK SERVICES: ’Currency Exchange, Concierge Service, VIP Check-In Service, Express Check-In and Check-Out’ NONE OF THIS IS TRUE; there is No Front Desk here. This is a traditional Moroccan house, there is NO NAME of the Hotel written outside the house! Extremely hard to find. A local man saw me ‘looking lost’ and asked for five dollars to take me to this hotel on foot. My wife and I felt unsafe inside and outside this hotel. I had three nights booking but did not stay even one hour. I left this place and found another comfortable and safe hotel not far from the city centre. I wish to emphasise that it was my personal experience; other people will of course have their own opinion of this hotel. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone.
