Ok here's the thing. If you're looking for a fancy modern hotel, do yourself a favor and stay at Margaritaville down the street. Hollywood Beach has an old South Florida vibe, in a good way. And that's what you get with this hotel - an authentic experience, so we loved it. It's an old building but it has been updated. Well it's actually 2 buildings and ours was away from the live music so it was not loud, but even so the music did not go late into the night. The area is quiet otherwise, since it's not where all the restaurants are. That's about a 5 minute walk down the Broadwalk. Parking is $20/night and it's either right behind the hotel or in a nearby parking lot, no valet. The hotel provides beach towels, which are already in the room, so there is no hassle to request them anywhere. The hotel does NOT provide beach chairs or umbrellas, however previous guests have bought them for their stays and not been able to take them home, so those will be in your closet for your own use, which is pretty great. Our bathroom and kitchen were small but the room itself was huge, probably twice the size of other hotels I had looked at. Beds were fine, not uncomfortable. Full curtains on all the windows, dark enough so the sunrise did not wake us. The kitchen was quite old but it had a full size fridge with freezer, which was the only thing we used in there. Overall I would definitely stay here again. You'll love it if you go in with the right expectations.

I loved the atmosphere of the place, the staff were also nice, and the location was very, very good and convenient, but the bathroom was terrible. The sink was clogged and really disgusting, and the sheets and the floor weren't clean.

The room was a bit dated, however, the location is great! Great view of the ocean, and located along the Hollywood Boardwalk. There was, however, an issue with the hot water during our stay. They tried to repair and were very nice about it. Great stay.

Great location near the beach. But our room was right outside the bar, A lot of noise from the bar during the day, people smoking and drinking in front of our door. Probably not the best place for a family with children. Room was clean when we arrived, but we stayed 5 nights, and they never cleaned the room. Bathroom needs upgrading.

This approach allows our guests to choose a convenient time or opt out of service if they prefer privacy. No staff present when needed in evening. Office closed before 8pm and we did not have appropriate sheets/towels, no info given to us as to who to call. Beds horrible, sofa bed is barely a bed. Never got my VIP perk I was supposed to get, either

Location was amazing. Staff was friendly. Tiki bar shut down at 7pm on a Saturday night but other than that, no complaints.

Room dirty. Old hotel. TV didnt work. Black stuff on the bed sheets (had to change them myself. Mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. Food was good. Good location.

Staff were amazing! The room very clean and has everything you need. The only thing issue is that we were in the lower level. There is a door that connects upstairs unit to the lower. Said door lets all sound through. We had a hard time sleeping with the people talking. They were not loud partys but late night conversation.. ?? you can hear it all. I mean its like being apart of the chats. Makes for an interesting night! Bar staff and food amazing too. Will stay again!

The room was ok, but the property is very tired. The room was quite cold, and we couldn't get the heat working, or turn down the air. We had two queens and only one extra blanket. The shower was quite slippery but did have nice amenities. No fan in the bathroom, and the window wouldn't open! The location and view were spectacular and almost make everything else worth it!
