The River View Lodge was friendly and clean and was quiet as well as located very close to all the excursions.
I would highly recommend it. The food was also surprisingly good.

Couldn't fault this place from the time I started to make the booking to the end of staying there. Helpful staff arranged a pick up from Vic Falls to take us to Chobe and then back to Vic Falls airport. Organised our tours over email, sunset cruise followed by a 6 hour safari the following day. All executed perfectly and with lovely willing people. We had full Board and the dinners were very nice. A bonus was the complimentary lunch we didn't expect. The room had a river view, was very large, clean tidy and immaculate. The bathroom was huge with a lovely walk in powerful shower. This was a little bit of luxury after roughing it in Vic Falls and it did not disappoint. Thank you to all your employees they do you proud.

We only stayed for one night but very much enjoyed our time here! The food was great, and we appreciated the chilled water cooler for refilling our bottles. We did not get a chance to enjoy the pool or lounge area very much, but it looked very nice and relaxing. The air con in the room was strong and worked well, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. We had a great time on the boating safari and early morning game drive, and had a wonderful guide.

We stayed in this hotel 2 nights during a trip through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The hotel is outdated and rooms need a serious refurbishment. Pool surrounded by a wooden terrace. Many planks close to the pool are rotten and partly repaired with metal plates, but remain extremely dangerous. This is far from the presentation on the webside. Lounge choirs at the pools are disgusting and not cleaned on a daily basis. Used towels from the previous day were not removed in the morning at 9:30. Sun umbrellas at the pool dirty and damaged. One broken wooden part just repaired with 2 plastic cable clamps. Breakfast buffet far below average. Dinner served on a couple of small tables as well as a table of 12 persons, mixing rooms. This would be acceptable in a b&b type maison d’h?te in France or agriturismo in Italy but not in a hotel. On the positive side, I would mention a friendly team and a well organized evening cruise tour. Place definitely not to be recommended.

Ottima location davanti al fiume, camera spaziosa e pulita con tutti i comforts, prima colazione e cena serale con ottimi ingredienti locali, escursioni sul fiume e safari organizzate da loro, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo finale.

Das Hotel ist sch?n gelegen direkt ab Chobe River. Insgesamt ist das Hotel und die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Allen voran die Guides, die die tollen Ausflüge begleitet. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Man ist meistens mit den anderen G?sten und kann sich so über die Erlebnisse des Tages umtauschen. Insgesamt ein guter Ausgangspunkt für tolle Ausflüge in den Chobe NP und zu den Vic Falls.

Fantastic stay
Very very clean rooms. Great breakfast and light lunch - both included. On riverfront with great view of sunset. No insects despite Kasane being full of bugs. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
