We have stayed here many times over the years and are never disappointed. Beautiful grounds, historic charm, peace and quiet, and delicious dining at McMillan's. Roche Harbor Resort and the Hotel De Haro are one of a kind, unique, and special!

We stayed from a Tuesday-Friday as we had our destination wedding on the resort. The location and resort speak for itself. It is stunning. We and our 70 guests could not say enough wonderful things about the experience. We had people fly in from all over the country and most made it a point to let us know that everything was amazing-from the resort food, views, rooms, location and one of- if not the best- weddings they ever attended. The customer service is above and beyond. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the Roche Harbor Weddings and Events team-Ashley, Stina, Cilena, and Laura. These women are amazing and really go above and beyond to make your day (in our case -weekend) an incredible experience. It was the little touches provided that made the greatest impact. The follow up from start to finish and after our wedding was met with urgency and care. The team works with empathy and seem to truly love what they do. A last shoutout to our bartenders-Krissy and Nic. They were the most personable, fun people to have working for our day. They made us and our guests feel at home and we were so grateful for them. Thank you Roche!

The hotel has very squeaky floorboards covered by old carpet, very steep stairs, and very small rooms. The shared bathroom at the end of the hallway (we did know that ahead of time) is decent. The bed is great and there was a sink in our room. The hotel can charge what it does because its claim to fame is its age and location, but it certainly lacks any other sense of luxury or ambience.

Super understanding when my boat had engine problems, I would definitely plan a trip to the resort again. We still managed to catch a ferry to Friday Harbor and drive to Roche to meet up with our Yacht group. The facility was clean and inviting and the guest Docks are maintained and wide

WE did not stay at the resort but we walked it Grounds. Beautiful gardens and hedges. Patios to sit on were immaculate. The view from the property to the Marina was amazing. This place was well kept up and historic. Well manicured property.

This was our first time back in Roche Harbor after 40 years. We came by sailboat the first time. Exploring the island by car and bike was lots of fun! Beautiful country and wonderful cool summer weather! And very easy and safe for biking. The resort only has 3 options for dining or make your reservations in advance. The chapel chimes and sunset flag ceremony were very nice and fun to watch. Our only disappointment was our Bayview suite in the Quarryman Hall. I guess it's marketing but check out the attached picture. We were right on the main road thru the resort and if you look hard to the left, you can see water and boats. You mostly see the back of the Hotel De Haro! I thought it was pretty over priced for what we got.

I rate this marina two 5s because it is a classy 10 star marina. From the time we arrived the staff were helpful and friendly (they seem to enjoy their jobs, the docks are I excellent condition, a quaint chapel chimes music at noon and 6pm, there is a well stocked store, a coffee bar also sells ice cream, craft shops in tents, kayaking, crabbing & fishing, you can catch a ding-ding trolley to tour the island, visit the historical Salt kiln, there are several excellent restaurants at the marina, and at sunset an exciting surprise! We are on a dock with our 30 foot Cornish Pilot sailboat dwarfed by the multi-million dollar mega yachts towering over us. The perfect place in the San Juan islands.

Here for a wedding. Staff did an amazing job - food and service was excellent. I stayed in Quarryman Hall. Room was lovely - bed was soft and extremely comfortable. Sheets and towels were super soft and cozy. Room was beautiful. No screens on the windows to protect the view (yay) but some flies got in - doesn't bother me but might bother others. Grounds are lovely and staff was very welcoming and helpful. Do wish that the gift shop and boutique (Dominique's) on site focused more on locally made products - or at least highlighted a display of items that are locally made. Pool was fabulous. Still early in the season, so mostly empty but it was lovely to swim by the marina with the beautiful view.

I didn't book my stay, as it was a part of a package deal with local touring business. However, I must say my stay exceeded all my expectations. I traveled solo, and was given a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom room, in the Pearl Condo on the hill. I'd originally been worried about dragging my own luggage from the boat docks to the Condo 'up the hill' but nope, I was able to walk, and/or call for ride via golf cart vehicle, as I desired, so no worries! The room I got was sooo pretty, had fantastic scenery and contained a fully functional kitchen with all the expected gadgetry from microwave, fridge, and K-cup coffee maker to pots, pans and the like (as if I cook while vacationing, lol!). I wanted to take that comfy couch home with me, as I recouped in front the TV after a long day. There were not one, but 2 patios, one with a nice table & chairs, overlooking the harbor.
