5* place, service and environment. The hosts Costas and Julia are very friendly and welcoming and Julia made, and left for us, delicious cakes to have with our morning coffee. Yummy. The studio is compact and cosy with a super comfy bed and kept very clean. We actually slept better here than at home. The view is second to none of the prettiest village in Kefalonia. Just be aware that the walk back up to the studios from the village is all up a steep hill so be prepared,I only had flip flops??3 minutes down but 10 minutes up??

Leaving today after 3 wonderful nights at Romania.Christos could not be more helpful.This is a perfect spot for Assos as you are just out of the village but only 5 minutes walk in.Access to village/harbour via steps or road depending on mobility but each fairly safe and easy.All restaurants in the village are great.Beach is beautiful and safe.Would highly recommend these apartments and Assos but 3/4 days is plenty.Walk up to castle is strenuous but easily doable but it was very hot so take water.We have loved the hospitality and the gorgeous cake supplied on arrival.

These are lovely studios with the most stunning views of Assos; we were lucky to have a room on the upper floor…just perfect.Christos greeted us warmly when our flight was delayed and arrival near to midnight..thanks. The room was spotless and kept clean and fresh each day, the breakfast items in the fridge and home made cake were thoughtful extra’s. It is a short walk into the village with it’s few taverna’s, bakery, supermarkets etc.

There is an amazing view of the bay from the apartments. Having visited Assos before it was so nice to stay for an evening when it is less busy. The room was lovely as we're the hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We we're given home made cake for our breakfast which was a nice surprise. Would definitely return but only stay longer next time.

Owner Christos is very genial, and after request on booking given one of the two rooms on first floor with balconies (best ones). Room clean and very comfortable, basics for breakfast in fridge. Wonderful view down over little harbour below, short walk to restaurants/good bakery/shops. Wide path takes you up to castle in about 40mins; did this early morning and evening. This really was a perfect place to stay for my last 2 days of a week visiting the whole island, useful to access Fiskardo (and much less touristy to stay in!).

Een van de mooiste plekken op Kefalonia. Vanaf het balkon heb je een geweldig uitzicht op de zee en op de kleine baai ervoor. De kamers zijn stijlvol ingericht en worden dagelijks schoon gemaakt. De eigenaar is super vriendelijk en helpt waar hij kan. Echte aanrader !

The very best view in Assos. And the studios themselves are wonderful. Spotlessly clean and serviced daily they have everything you need (including excellent a/c) without any expensively pointless frills. A short and easy stroll down to the town for breakfast at the family bakery there makes the Romanza just perfect. Add to this a friendly (whilst never intrusive) host and we consider it close to heaven. Oh - and by the way - the room rates are astonishingly reasonable.

Lovely room with a large balcony with one of the best views in Greece. Only minutes from the main town and the horseshoe bay. Although its described as no breakfast the hosts provided coffee,tea, hams etc and always put a homemade cake in the fridge for us. The hosts are lovely people who cannot do enough for you. Highly recommend thus hotel
