Romlan is a really nice place to stay. We stayed there 3 nights and liked it a lot. It's easy to get there because the ferry can drop you off at Romlan when you ask it. There is a nice place where you can eat and drink, it was a very good atmosphere. Their menu is very extensive and the food is really good (and also the price). You can book a scooter and massage very easily. I can really recommend this place.

Wir sind durch Empfehlungen eines zuf?llig auf der Stra?e getroffenen Paares hierhergekommen. Die Betten waren super bequem, nicht durchgelegen und alles war sauber. Es roch gut. Das Zimmer war gro? und es gab eine Terasse mit Seeblick. Auch das Badezimmer war gro? und es gab Warmwasser. Das Essen im Restaurant wurde frisch gekocht und es gab sowohl indonesisches wie auch Western Food. Das beste ist das nachhaltige Konzept: Wasserspender im Restaurant und Zimmerservice nur auf Wunsch. Wir haben uns super Wohlgefühlt.

Gute Küche, freundliches Team, Zimmer zum Wasser ausgerichtet, sehr gutes Speisen Angebot von 7 - 21.30 Uhr. Zimmer rustikal aber sehr sauber, mit hei?er Dusche, sehr guten Matratzen. Tolle Lage, mit der F?hre direkt über den Wasserweg erreichbar

We chose the Romlan Hotel for our stay on Samosir Island, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. They assisted us with transportation from Medan to Samosir and even rented us a motorcycle to get around the island. The staff was very friendly and provided us with helpful advice on what to see and where to go. The guesthouse offers different bungalows for accommodation. Ours had a view of the sea (in fact, it was right by the sea). It was spacious and clean. There's also a restaurant and bar on the premises. The price is great as well. It's a fantastic option for lodging on Samosir.

Pro: Very nice location, nice garden with flowers, nice view, animal friendly and food was tasteful. Con: We were ignored by the stuff even if it was not crowded. We were invisible when we had to order.

Had a great stay at Romlan guesthouse. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is directly backing on to the lake where you can go swimming and the views were amazing. Room was nice but quite basic and had quite a low ceiling. The wi-fi worked well. Would recommend staying at Romlan!

Wundersch?ne Unterkunft, wir hatten ein eigenes kleines Batak H?uschen mit sch?ner Veranda mit Seeblick. Das Bett war toll! Sch?ne weiche Matratze und sehr kuschliges Bettzeug. Es gab sogar warmes Wasser im Bad. Das Restaurant war ausgezeichnet! Da Romlan von einer Deutsch-Indonesischen Familie geführt wird, gab es es auch tolles deutsches Essen: leckerer Kaiserschmarren und tolle frisch gebackene Baguette- und Laugensemmeln. Man kann einen Scooter ausleihen, bekommt Infos zur Insel, die Weiterfahrt wurde für uns gebucht, das Personal ist freundlich
