The reception didn’t respect us, and it was so noisy.

The stay was comfortable and decent enough but there was a horrible woman with blonde hair on the reception, I asked for Wi-Fi to be fixed as I couldn’t get connected and she said I’ll get maintenance to look at it (fair enough) one day went by, And I still couldn’t get connected to it, So I told the woman on reception, She replied I’ve already told maintenance (very rudely) I said I wanted it fixed now, She then had the audacity to say I had a bad attitude, Which was very rich coming from her, I have travelled all over the world staying in hotels and have never came across someone with an attitude like hers, she was making nasty faces towards me, speaking with no patience whatsoever and just an overall disgusting demeanour, The fact she works in customer service blows my mind, A real horrible person.

Generally satisfied with the whole settings. Car park has many lots available. Access to city centre is convenient.

Spent a night here. Had to keep my windows open for ventilation as there was no air conditioning nor fan in the room. Location is okay, one bus from city centre.
Receptionists are nice and easy to talk to.
Many thanks for the tea and coffee made available in the room.

Too start us off. We walked into the property and where told the staff where slow which was a bit off putting. I was charged ￡30 extra for breakfast for two people which was advertised as a buffet too get two brown paper bags consisting of a apple, apple juice, a packaged croissant and a breakfast bar that was so dry it wouldn’t go down my throat and the hot apple juice didn’t exactly help. Furthermore, I booked a double room as you can see in photos when you book a double room, it’s a nice room you would think. We were “upgraded” too a superior room with grime and dirt in the tiles. Hair on the floor. Marks all over the duvet that looked like it had just been flipped over. The floor was covered in dust. The bedside lamp didn’t work making one side of the room dark. It seemed completely outdated due too the stained and dirty carpet. The room smelled off a dump. Neither me nor my partner got too sleep until 7am due too not being able too turn off our heating. We had a fan on and the window open ajar considering we couldn’t actually open it any further. We also did not appreciate being quizzed every time we wanted to enter the property past 10 at night. Overall the only positive thing about this was the short walk too St James’s Park as we where seeing Sam fender. I was utterly shocked about the state off this room and the service that was provided. Not a nice hotel room and not an enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was not very comfortable.
The air conditioning in the room was completely ineffective and did not cool the space at all. Although the room was equipped with a small fan, it was nowhere near sufficient for two people, especially during a heatwave.
The bathroom extractor fan was also not working, which meant that after taking a shower, the room became even hotter and more humid. As the window could not be opened, there was no way to get fresh air or any ventilation. We ended up spending a very uncomfortable and restless night due to the excessive heat.
The hotel’s location is not particularly central, but it is reasonably close to the city centre. One positive aspect is that it offers free parking and breakfast, which is definitely appreciated.
Overall, if the air conditioning were properly repaired, I would be happy to consider staying here again in the future.

Guy on reception was great and helpful. Bathroom was dirty. Very very basic.
