This is a great place to stay! We booked the room on the "first" floor for two nights and absolutely loved it. In our thinking the place is actually a nice local bar/restaurant with some more dining available and a couple of rooms. We ate breakfast and dinner there and were very happy with the food and service. The owner told us that the first floor starts with the largest room, and the rooms get slightly smaller as you go up. The reviews describe all you need to know very well. I should add that on Friday night, the guests at the restaurant below were noticeably noisy until about 2:00 on Saturday morning. Our booking did not include Saturday night, but on Thursday, I didn't notice any noise at all. Closing the windows blocked a lot of the notice. Now, on to parking. Although parking was not included with the room rental, the hotel offers nearby parking. Reserve a spot if you can book it. Getting to the hotel and parking was complicated for us. First, we drove past but couldn't identify the hotel (we later learned that our route was forbidden unless we had a sticker). That got us a fine billed through the rental company like a toll, but it might be waivable. Then, we parked in an underground ramp a couple of blocks away and went on foot to find the hotel. After accomplishing that, as instructed by the hotel owner, we fetched our car, and she showed us how to park in her spot in a smaller parking garage very close to the hotel and get in and out again if we wanted to. We would stay here again and catch a quiet dinner at the restaurant.

Bie and Pascal's B&B is the best location I can imagine in Ghent: a 17th century historic property with views of people strolling along the Korenlei and the boats passing along the Leie River, and fragrant petunias in all the window boxes. We loved climbing the spiral staircase to the clean and well appointed rooms, which exceeded all of our expectations: comfortable beds, historic features (like the wooden floors and iron window closures), refreshing cross breezes and air-con, and modern, comfortable bathrooms with luxurious showers. Every morning we started the day with an outstanding breakfast on the waterside patio. And throughout the day we loved interacting with the staff and chatting with Bie & Pascal. I would plan another trip to Belgium just to stay with Bie & Pascal again!

We stayed for one night at Rooms With A View. What a delightful stay. Our Hostess Bei was welcoming and was a lovely, chatty lady with a nice sense of humour. The room overlooking the old area and river in Ghent was clean, comfortable, the pillows were great. We had lots of freebies, very nice bottle of wine, beer, water, etc all for us to consume without extra charge. It was a little noisy but Ghent was gearing up to welcome 'ooo's of visitors to the ten day Ghent Festival starting the following day. If you want to be in the midst of the festival, which looked very well organised and to listen to music until 3am . . .then this is the hotel for you. Outside of the festival this is also a wonderful place to stay, wandering around & sighseeing in the morning before the crowds arrived was a joy. Dinner in Bei's restaurant was delicious and we ate on the terrace overlooking the water - very special. Breakfast was generous tasty and also served on the terrace. The stairs up to the room are very steep and are obviously not for anyone with mobility problems, other than that it was perfect in every way.

I could not imagine a better view or indeed views. The location is perfect. We were well looked after by all the team - professional, helpful and friendly. The room was impeccable and comfortable with all necessary amenities. We felt welcome and really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful room, beautiful view from the room - panoramic views to be honest. The host put a bottle of wine in the room and it was just perfect sitting in our gorgeous room, sipping on a lovely glass of wine, taking in the lovely atmosphere and beautiful evening. Recommend.

Our gorgeous room ( No 1) had a stunning view of the canal. Open the doors with a glass of wine or beer (included) in hand and watch and wave to the boats of tourists below. Bie is an amazing host who carried our bags to our room, made us feel at home and helped us plan our two night in the wonderful city of Ghent. We had dinner in the charming downstairs restaurant, where Pascal cooked us a delicious meal with a glass of Cava included. Our room was lovely and comfortable with snacks, beer, wine, coffee and soft drink provided each day and a great bed. Breakfast was a feast for the eyes, beautifully presented and varied. We reluctantly left feeling we would love to return one day to see this very welcoming couple and their gorgeous B & B

What a wonderful experience in Ghent. It was exactly what we wanted in a quaint B&B. The location was fantastic, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the hospitality was what made it so special. The first breakfast we had was so good. You can choose whatever you want (the night before) and then you have the restaurant to yourself to have a casual meal. The room had modern amenities as well as rustic charm. There was a bottle of wine for us, a stocked mini fridge with drinks, and vouchers for the downstairs restaurant for complimentary glasses of Cava if we wanted. We would definitely stay there again!

Wat een fantastisch verblijf hadden we hier! Kamer nog mooier dan op de foto's (bovenste verdieping). Uitzicht was echt prachtig. Je hoort 's avonds wel het gezellige rumoer van de stad maar dat lijkt me niet meer dan logisch gezien de ligging van het pand. Ontbijt was heerlijk, op de door ons uitgekozen tijd konden we buiten op het terras aan het water ontbijten. Parkeren was goed geregeld, gastvrouw zeer vriendelijk, echt een topverblijf!

Third floor room was wonderful. Tough to climb the narrow spiral stair but worth it for the views out over the canal and the (only one) tiny balcony. Pleasant service from the bar below and a warm welcome and orientation from the staff. Highly recommend this place especially the third floor.
