The Royal Inti staff are very friendly, but the hotel's location and quality make for a poor stay. We recommend finding a different hotel or BNB. The hotel is located on the main commercial street in Aguas Calientes and is unfortunately located next door to two very loud bars. The windows do not close all the way so expect a lot of noise. The only reason we slept was by turning our phones into white noise machines. We were told that the noise is even worse on weekends. The hotel does provide a good breakfast in the morning which is available at 4:30am, and is a very short walk to the bus and train station.

I stayed over the night before doing machu picchu. I was travelling alone and they made me feel really welcome. The hotel is lovely, really comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast is available from 4:30am and is great. I'm vegetarian and there was loads for me to eat. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Victor even went and got me a phone charger! I stayed here 5 years ago too and I will use it every time I visit. A huge thank you, especially to Victor. Your kindness meant a lot.
