Seeing the reviews I was a bit worried about this one but they were great! Communication was a bit sporadic prior to the stay, but once I called them and got their number, they were brilliant. They were super apologetic about any miscommunications, arranged us a bus pick up from the ferry port for our group (even though it's close by) and upgraded one of our rooms. The staff were lovely, rooms very clean. Overall a great stay in Stone Town. No vegan options at breakfast.

This locally owned budget hotel is a perfect location for anyone who wishes to be away from the hassle and bustle of Stone Town but close enough to reach it in a 15 min walk. The accommodations are simple (e.g. no hairdryer or toiletries), and no elevator, but the staff are friendly and very responsive. Beds are firm and linens crisp and clean and great A/C. The dining room is a cozy outdoor alcove with local fare offered buffet style. Breakfast is made fresh to order, though not included as indicated on some booking sites. The only downside for light sleepers might be the early wake-up calls by several vocal roosters.....

A very basic property. Relatively clean. Would love to have had a basic kettle to use each morning, but not available. Access road has large craters from transport trucks delivering shipping containers across the street from hotel.

I would appreciate for the hospitality and welcoming for the guest and atleast should be very clean and the workers would like to be considering there customers well all the people should be equal and understanding with there guest always.
