Been a fan of Phil for almost 15 years. His restaurants are excellent (not cheap but great) and the rooms are exactly what we expected from him. Clean, modern decor immaculately kept. Not fussy or over-fancy and felt spacious. Our complaint that 4, of the 5, Nespresso pods supplied were decaf resulted in a good helping of caffeinated pods delivered while we were at dinner. That's what you call service. The bed was queen sized and comfortable, the windows opened to let in a cool breeze on a hot night. The location is central and convenient for public transport. It will certainly be top of the list next time we need to visit Douglas.
