Great location in the old city but hard to find and nearly 60 narrow steps to carry your bags up. Find Uri Buri restaurant and look for a square black sign on the building to the left. Little signs direct you up all the way to the top. The room is lovely and the host has added a number of nice little extras. Our room didn't have a microwave so that must be in the other room as there are only two.
The property is family-owned. The room is clean, well-designed, and very comfortable, containing everything you need, including fresh fruits, wine, and coffee. The steep stairs make it difficult to access, and there’s no view from the window. The service can sometimes be impatient, likely due to it being a family-run business. However, the warm, personal touch and attention to detail make it a charming place to stay. Plus, the hotel is located above the famous Uri Buri restaurant. Don’t let the minor inconveniences deter you
A few misleading things on the listing. There is no breakfast or bar available at the property. There is no sunset view from the property, but rather rooftops of buildings. Very steep 2nd flight of metal stairs to rooftop where the two rooms are. We were a little taken aback by the bird cages and items in the rooftop on our first impression. But, the room was very clean and comfortable and owners very nice, leaving little snacks in the morning. We never were able to get the tv to work even after asking one of the owners for help. Parking can be tough when it is busy. We waited 1/2 hour once until a spot opened up. All in all, the location worked out fine, we were comfortable in the room, the owners were very kind, but we would probably choose another place to stay if we were to return.
Great place to stay right by the sea! Loved our host. She was very sweet and thoughtful. Even brought us treats! Everything we needed for a great stay was provided. As other reviews have mentioned, there are a lot of steps up to the apartment. So be sure you can handle them with your luggage. Loved our stay!
