Jim and Christina were wonderful hosts. The room was very comfortable, and a gorgeous view of the water outside. It was very quiet at Sealladh Sona, and we really enjoyed our three night stay here. It was about a mile walk to the main area of Inverness, which made this a perfect location! There was also pleanty of parking either directly in front of the house, or just down the street in a lot. We had a couple early mornings, and Jim and Christina were kind enough to pack us to go Breakfasts. The one breakfast we ate at the B&B was absolutely delicious! We definitely would love to stay here again next time we're visiting Inverness!

Very warm welcome from the owner of this lovely quietly located B&B on the banks of the Caledonian Canal in Inverness. Room was a very good size with a comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. Really tasty breakfast made to order before my departure. Would definitely recommend & would be happy to return if visiting the area.

Alojamiento muy recomendable
Los propietarios son una pareja encantadora que nos dió recomendaciones y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. El desayuno es muy bueno, casero y con productos de calidad y de proximidad. Hay diferentes opciones para elegir, entre ellas el típico desayuno escocés, y todo te lo preparan al momento. La casa está impecable y decorada con gusto. La habitación es muy acogedora. Te sientes como en casa. En 15-20 minutos paseando estas en el centro de Inverness y a un par de minutos andado hay un Lidl.

Dans l ensemble tres satisfaisant. Nous avons regretté deux choses.
1 manque de savon : uniquement une dosette pour deux pourc3 jours.
2. Les horaires des petits dejeuners. En effet , il n etait pas noté sur le site que c etait dec8 h a 9 h. Or nous devions partir deux fois a 7 h et 7 h30. Nous avons eu certes des petits paquets mais il etait interdit de les manger a l intérieur. A 60 ans devoir etre dehors m a un peu heurtée. Nous aurions tres bien pu etre dans la salle du petit dejeuner faire le grignotage sans bruit ...
A part cela , bel emplacement, tres bon petit déjeuner, hotes agreables.

Very comfortable B&B, walking distance to pubs and restaurants looking over a beautiful canal. Christina and Jim's breakfast was so fresh and delicious, they provided suggestions on activities and were very friendly and helpful. We met other guests who had stayed before and we are looking forward to returning.

Hosts were wonderful. Just under a mile walk to downtown Inverness, but our hosts recommended the two mile walk along the canal and across the Ness Islands.

It was a lovely place and the breakfast was superb! Parking was a bit wonky but you could park nearby so as to avoid the tight parking spots. Very friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommend!!

Clean and comfortable. Very welcoming staff. Be cautious in summer months. No A/C and rooms can be quite warm.

Sealladh Sona (pronounced Sheila Shona) is a fabulous B&B. Located on the outskirks of Inverness overlooking the tranquil Caledonian Canal. Inverness City Centre is a short drive away, or 25 minutes on foot along pleasant flat residential roads. There is free parking at the front of the B&B, too. The hotel itself is spotless clean and very well looked after by the owners. Rooms are furnished to a very high standard with extremely comfortable beds and plenty of drawer space for clothes and belongings. Contemporary WC and ensuite shower room with lots of shelf space. Every room has a kettle for making hot drinks and is supplied with plenty of coffee and tea. Breakfast is perfectly served with a choice of cereals and hot food, expertly cooked and served. Above all, the owners, Christina and Jim, are excellent hosts. They have a touch of class whilst being down to earth, very welcoming and good humoured. When we asked, they gave us lots of advice on the best places to visit over an extensive area which was useful as they told us places we may have missed along the way. We stayed here for over a week and enjoyed every minute of my stay and would love to stay here again. Our stay was value for money and I can honestly say that our experience staying here was 100% enjoyable. Thank you to Christina and Jim.
