The only thing that is good about this property is that it is close to Chalakudy river and can see the river from rooms. The rooms are old, not at all maintained well and needs immediate refresh. The standard a/c rooms smelled bad throughout the stay. The toilet tiles and fixtures were not maintained well and was needed good cleanup. Hope the management will improve the upkeep of this property soon.

We had a wonderful time at the Seeheim resorts during the Christmas vacation in 2023. We had two elderly folks, two middle-aged folks and a teenager in our family. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked fine, and you will need it. Kerala feels very hot and humid if you are coming from outside India. The backyard and the balconies offer great view of the river. Pros: The service staff members are outstanding. Sanish and Libin at the front desk will attend to each and every request you make. They can arrange cars and autos if you need them. The food is high quality South Indian for breakfast. The room service offers mostly North Indian food. Kudos to the chefs Kochuvarri and Amal. The rooms are inexpensive for this region. There are other restaurants and resorts close by for other dining options, but these are not cheap. Cons: ?There is no restaurant, only room service. There is no elevator in this resort. If you have elderly folks who cannot climb stairs, ask them for a room on the ground floor.

For a family owned affordable boutique resort it is excellent. The plot is located ***** the river a little downstream from the Athirapally falls in Kerala. The rooms are thoughtfully located to capture the view of the river and the forested hills. The two-story building is set to the rear end of the plot whereby it provides also a sizable garden space overlooking the river. The rooms are spacious and comfortably designed and guests get a view of the river and forest from inside the room, and the balcony, which is available in each room. The covered roof facilitates a spacious breakfast area with the view to the river and the forest. The facility is ideal for a personal retreat, family get-together, group bookings. The facilities are also suitable for a small sized corporate retreat for brainstorming sessions in a relaxed environment or just for ice-breaking sessions. The room rates are affordable. The rate depends on the season. The staff are friendly and eager to make the guests comfortable and relaxed.
