I brought my elderly Mum and a friend to the area for a reunion. I needed to be sure they would be able to manage the stairs and pathways. The staff at Seeplaas were so helpful sending me videos of the steps and showing the distance between the car park and the rooms. The rooms we chose (Ocean View 7 and 8) were absolutely beautiful with incredible views, stunning decor and all the home comforts you could ever want. We chose these because the bathrooms were fully enclosed and would be warmer and our visit was in winter. Staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant on site gave us a fantastic cooked breakfast with gorgeous views over the sea.

We love visiting Seeplaas restaurant for it's excellent Fish dishes and friendly staff. Annezz, you are a star and always willing to assist.

This was, without a doubt, the best stay of our entire lives! Whether the sun was shining or the rain was pouring (we experienced both!), it was absolutely perfect. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean 24/7 was pure magic. The room was spacious, beautifully kept, and spotlessly clean. Every staff member we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly. And the restaurant next door? A total gem—delicious food and a great vibe! We can’t recommend this place highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at Seeplaas for a function. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom which was not pleasant. The walk-in shower and no ceilings results in a draft while you shower. Definitely would not want to go there during winter. Apart from that the walls seem to be very thin as we had to listen to the person next-door’s tv blaring most of the night. The food at the restaurant was ok but not much salmon to be found in the salmon and egg wrap and their coffee was very weak. We expected a much better experience for the price we paid.

We hadden een mooie kamer met mooi uitzicht. Walvissen en heel veel dolfijnen trokken voorbij. Vanaf het balkon kun je naar het strand lopen waar toen wij er waren niet veel mensen liepen. Alleen op de wereld met uitzicht op de Indische oceaan....Ik heb er van genoten. De kamer was ruim, mooi en compleet ingericht en het bed was lekker groot en comfortabel. De badkamer was compleet met een mooi groot bad. Voor de douche moesten we naar buiten. Dat leek eerst vreemd, maar het bleek een heerlijke ervaring. Er was voldoende privacy en de douche was heerlijk warm. het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in het naastgelegen restaurant. Dat is geen onderdeel van Seeplaas. Jammer was dat het restaurant om 17.00 sloot, de keuken om 16.30 dicht ging en er dan al met veel lawaai begonnen werd met opruimen. Het zou fijn zijn als het restaurant wat langer open zou blijven.

We stayed at Seeplaas as a stop on our roadtrip. My mum stayed in one of the rooms and had an amazing seaview from her stoep, with comfortable chairs and everything she needed to relax and recharge. My sister and I stayed in the Bubble - wow! What an experience! From the delicious platter we arrived to, free bottle of wine, to the bathroom and other facilities - everything was so well thought through. We spend hours in the hot tub, overlooking the sea and coastline, and even experienced rain when in the Bubble - just amazing! A delicious breakfast was included and we could choose from the menu - which is even more of a treat, as we had seating outside, in the shade, still overlooking the whole coastline. An experience I will highly recommend.
