We had a fabulous weekend at Simoya Nature Park, Madhu and Sanjee have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The accommodation is immaculate with every detail considered . The food was amazing! Sanjee and Madhu made us so welcome and went over and above expectations to help us enjoy an unforgettable Sri Lankan experience.

The attention to detail at Simoya far surpassed any hotel I’ve stayed in, not just in Sri Lanka, but anywhere in my travels. Every element of the stay was so thoughtfully considered, it truly took me by surprise. From the delicious breakfasts and dinners enjoyed on the calming balcony, to the restful night’s sleep on a very comfortable (Western-style) mattress, everything was perfect. I was even able to stream films easily using a Fire Stick, thanks to the strong and reliable Wi-Fi. Madhu and Sanjee have genuinely set the bar for hospitality. I initially came to visit the cave temple, but I’ll be returning for the experience of Simoya itself, 100%. Thank you both for such a memorable and restorative stay.

Excellent locations and amazing hosts made this a highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka.Our hosts made us feel very comfortable and looked after us so well, even though they had family matters to atend to they went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after and helped with transportation. The food was excellent and very tasty. We walked to the Caves and had an great safari around the region.

We had the most wonderful time at Simoya Nature Park. Our host looked after us so well with every attention to detail. The breakfasts and dinners were superb and staying there was a great introduction to how hospitable and friendly the Sri Lankan people are. We were looked after so well. I would thoroughly recommend.

We are 4 friends and we stayed to Sanjee and Madhu 3 nights to visit Dambulla. Our stay was PERFECT! They had such a cure for little things and every needs (even EVERY dish request) that we were flattered! Sanjee guided us in many places and he and his beautiful wife cooked for us every breakfast and dinner, and everything was really delicious and taked care of the smallest details! Their English was good too so we were able to learn a lot about their culture! We Don’t have enough beautiful words to describe how lucky we were to share our trip with such special people! Super super super super recommended!!!

Simoya Park is a small boutique hotel run by a lovely local family, who go above and beyond in hospitality - the aim is to make your stay comfortable. The room was impeccable, large bed and crispy clean bed sheets. Little details like fresh flowers decorations and an amazing shower with a view to a jungle. The room also has a balcony and a front terrace, where you can enjoy meals prepared by the hosts. Simoya owners also organise local travel and transfers on requests. They know about their country and explain you about it with passion. If you want to have a very relaxing stay in a very tranquil area - Simoya Park can be your home away from home.

Lo ricordiamo come il nostro miglior soggiorno in Sri Lanka. Struttura nuova, a conduzione familiare, ubicata fuori dal paese di Dambulla a circa 10 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso dei famosi templi rupestri. Praticamente immerso nella foresta. Camera e bagno spaziosi e pulitissimi, arredati con cura e gusto. Dispone di un terrazzino sul retro dove si consuma la colazione ed uno spazio con tavolo e sedie davanti l'ingresso della camera dove viene servita la cena. Assolutamente da non perdere la cena, piatti della cucina tradizionale cingalese preparati e serviti in maniera eccellente. Ottima anche la colazione. La famiglia proprietaria della struttura abita in una casa a breve distanza, sono loro il vero punto di forza. Sempre disponibili, gentilissimi e simpatici. Consigliamo senza dubbio di soggiornare al Simoya Nature Park.

One of the best accommodation experience we had in our entire Sri Lanka tour was here at Simoya Nature Park. 1. Welcoming and friendly hosts - Super hosts with warm smile , very friendly and showed utmost care to make our stay comfortable. 2. Comfortable accommodation - The rooms were neat, clean, well-decorated, has all modern amenities, away from hustle and bustle of main road yet you won't miss any facilities there starting from modern bathroom to soft pillow, electric kettle with tea / coffee kit, spacious bed , balcony overlooking lush green backyard garden. 3. Food - Oh they fed us really well! We travelled from India and on the same day travelled from Colombo to Dambulla - we were hungry, thirsty , tired! And then we reached at Simoya, we were welcomed with freshly made fruit juice, cold towel and sumptuous dinner. Next morning, breakfast was even better with Sri Lankan delicacies, fresh cut fruits, avocado juice . I only wish , would have stayed there longer ! 4. Location - It hardly took us 3-4min (by car) to reach Simoya from Dambulla cave Temple. It is very close to cave temple (20 min by walk, 3-4 min by car) and Sigriya (approx. 20 min by car) . My heartfelt gratitude to the owner and his entire family for the kind of experience we had at Simoya. I wish you good luck for your future endeavor.

Habitación increíble, limpia, huele súper bien, el ba?o completo, la cama súper cómoda, terraza en la habitación con vistas a la jungla, desayuno y cena típica de Sri Lanka. Está súper cerca de las cuevas de Dambulla y muy bien situado en la zona. Además, sus maravillosos anfitriones nos ayudaron a movernos por la zona ense?ándonos la vida de allí. Repetiría una y mil veces!!! Gracias Madhu! Sanjee! Mokya! Yashasvi!
