Unbelievable place. Charming, beautiful, very good bed, excellent breakfast. New ownership december 2025. Big plans for improvements. The owner have 2 restaurants in town and 2 other bnbs. This place is better than a bnb. The breakfast is mode like a boutique hotel with several great choices and french press. Outshines many places.

I stayed in the Carriage Room which is separate from the main house. The decor was lovely. I used the wi-fi the whole time and it was very reliable. Breakfast time was leisurely and enjoyable, each guest or group of guests at their own table with very attentive staff.

Spotless room as always; however what really sets this property apart from every single place you could ever stay at is the front desk staff greets you at your car, shows you to your room, and much much more.
Cannot say enough good things about this property.

Breakfast was incredible and staff was excellent. It was raining during our stay and we rarely felt the need to go off property. However, when we did everything was super convenient.

Casa linda, quarto limpo e confortável (aqui um porém, dentro de nosso quarto havia um acesso direto para o por?o o que nos deixou um pouco desconfortáveis), bem localizada, funcionários educados, solícitos e gentis. Pensamos que o valor poderia ser um pouco mais baixo.

Beautiful historic home and grounds. We stayed in the Pendle Cottage, the largest of the small cottages around the property. Very private and cozy, high quality. If you like B and B's, this place is for you!

Was very nice property with serene grounds. Offerings of complementary wine and hors d’oeuvres in the pm was enjoyable. Attention of all staff was critical to a fine stay. Pendle cottage was nice and free sodas was appreciated. Only slight ding was the shower was a bit slow to heat up and on the narrow side. Breakfast was excellent. A very pleasant stay!

Already looking forward to going back
Can't not say stunning enough. Hotel ground is beautifully designed with trees, flowers and fountains. Jasmine fragrance permeates the air and greets guests upon arrival. Breakfast is served in style with a different entrée each day. Guests are pampered by very attentive servers (Dana is absolutely fabulous). Happy hour everyday with wine and delicious hor'doeuvres from 530 to 630pm.
