Began at soneva as my 1st time going to Maldives was one of the best choice that I’ve ever made, yet it set the bar incredibly high ?? The memories I have of going to Soneva last year, back when it was my first time, are unforgettable. Anyone who’s ever been here knows exactly how it feels to be at Soneva. A natural, spacious island where you might even spot cute rabbits hopping around. Rustic overwater villas with a modern touch, big private pools, slides, incredible breakfast spots in the main area, and I don’t even need to mention the beach. We all know Maldives is amazing, but there’s just something about Soneva that stays with you, something you can’t help but keep close to your heart. Now I’m choosing Soneva again for my 6th time in the Maldives. After exploring a few other resorts, I realized I wanted that same feeling again, maybe even better, more beautiful experience, back at Soneva. Once I arrived at Soneva this time, it was cloudy, yet it didn’t change the beauty of the island. Surprisingly, our butler, Adel, told us that they had upgraded our room to a two-bedroom overwater villa, which was nice! Everything went smoothly, the spa was great, and we dived three days in a row. The dive sites were really beautiful. We played tennis both with and without a coach, and had a great time with Cornelia, who was our tennis coach then. Overall, my stay at Soneva was truly wonderful. It felt like coming back home, creating new memories while the old ones remain just as beautiful. It’s sad to leave , five days is definitely not enough. There are just a few small things that I think could be improved to meet Soneva’s high standards. At times, punctuality could be better, for example, picking us up from the restaurant, meet us at one point, clearing our in-villa dining even after we had requested it to be done 45 minutes later, and the turndown service, which was scheduled for 7 p.m. but ended up happening about an hour later. I understand that this was peak season, with many arrivals and high occupancy, so everyone was very busy. However, I believe this is still an area where improvements can be made. There was also a very small detail that I noticed: our minibar snacks weren’t refilled by housekeeping. Of course, we could always ask, but it’s always nicer when these things are done without having to request them. I hope that in the near future these small shortcomings can be improved, especially considering how strong the competition is among luxury resorts. At this price point, I’m confident that guests who choose Soneva arrive with very high expectations. But personally, I still love Soneva for everything it offers, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be back.

Positives Hospitality Food Pool villa set up/ layout Barefoot Butlers ( Hassan, you were amazing) Responsiveness to requests (nothing was too much trouble). Cleanliness Negatives Confusing resort layout (and quite a large resort) lacked beach views from villa a few niggles (dim lighting, a/c not sufficient) A little lack of privacy between rooms within villa complex. Very pleasant stay, looked after us well.

We had a two weeks stay in a 1 Bedroom Water Reserve with our two Kids and it was one of the best and most relaxing times we ever had. Just everybody and everything is perfect for us. The relaxed and natural but still very luxurious atmosphere. From the first moment when putting our shoes in a bag to the last goodbye it was a great and unforgettable experience. The variety and quality of the food in the different restaurants paired with the great service you get everywhere is just excellent. The Team from “the Den” was wonderful, making the stay for our kids so unforgettable and varied with exiting activities. Especially a great Thank you to our barefoot butler Shan, who made this stay even better and more unforgettable. He was just so much caring and even for filling wishes we’ve not spoken about. Every single person we met went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The level of hospitality was through the roof! We were particularly impressed by how everyone remembered our names and little preferences. Barefoot luxury at its best! Everything at Soneva was relaxed, chilled but perfect quality. All of the food we ate was delicious, the breakfast options are crazy. The ocean is beautiful and even at our beginner level of snorkelling we saw the most amazing array of sea life. The team here are wonderful, we had Christina looking after us and she was excellent, always on the WhatsApp to answer anything as well as suggestions and general check ins. Having the rooms available all day in 2 locations with food available was brilliant. I have to say all food was just delicious. I cant say enough about this resort, it was the most amazing place I have been in my life so far, and amazingly relaxed. Staying in the water villa was a real experience, and housekeeping were always going above and beyond to look after us. Also the gym is brilliant for a small island.

D1 入住沙屋私人泳池和沙滩玩水从房间走向沙滩阳光明媚豁然开朗晚上out of blue吃晚餐（out of blue有出乎意料之意马代的第一餐着实惊艳） D2 一早醒来就看到酒店布置的周年纪念沙画很漂亮吃完早餐参加酒店赠送的浮潜（酒店赠送的）两位专业的海洋生物学家带我们一家四口从戴面具呼吸管脚蹼到沿着海沟欣赏非常棒的体验中午蹭了几口娃的免费餐饮下午把孩子扔进儿童客户中心（the Den）去享受酒店赠送的六十分钟spa （是的又是酒店赠送的因为周年纪念从30min升级到60min）还有一个赠送的冷冻项目我们由于胆小没有尝试 D3 下了一夜的雨吃完早餐小朋友就去the Den和昨天新交到的朋友玩了我们就收拾搬去水屋等我们搬完后雨也停了大家就在水屋玩游泳池滑滑滑梯和浮潜由于突降暴雨取消了追海豚活动（还是赠送的）在户外的乒乓球室打了好久的球 D4. 绕道赤脚骑行在密林中一点也不晒看到了一群抢壳的寄居蟹抓到了眼睛透明怕痒痒的螃蟹下午继续回水屋玩水傍晚自费玩了索道和山顶餐厅主厨是印度人整个用餐过程非常愉快运气很好当天夜晚满天繁星晚饭后还去了酒店的观星台专家Shizu小姐给我们看星星并仔细介绍还为我们拍到清晰的月坑和银河 D5 一清早追海豚失败吃完早餐离岛美中不足的是来去都没有坐到索尼娃自己的水飞沟通两天还是未果所以我给这次行程的打分是almost perfect 岛上的餐食都非常好吃每个菜系都有专业国家的厨师掌勺比如意大利披萨和意面就是意大利厨师堪比各式各样的米其林餐厅而且从只包早餐升级到了包晚餐我们只花了饮料和山顶晚餐的钱还有最棒的一点是洗一篮衣服只要十块几美金是我觉得fushi最最最性价比的一个收费项目 Last but not least真的好爱fushi的自然风光着脚丫享受了五天的惬意感谢我们的赤脚管家Laura 非常有耐心且专业提供了明明白白事无巨细的安排让我们整个人都放松了下来期待以后再来
