At the slightly quieter end of Agonda beech is this lovely small establishment, it is beech-front and next to main resort road ( not a busy road !). They have beech facing rooms on 2 levels but we chose the inland option ( 20 m from the beech lol). Specious rooms each with double bed , wardrobe and desk. Air con and ceiling fan. Tea/coffee and kettle. Good sized bathroom and toilet. The place is well maintained and clean. The bar/ restaurant offers good selection of food/ beverages that is high quality and reasonably priced. The staff are all friendly but not intrusive making a lazy beech day a pure pleasure

As a solo female traveller I found Sonho do Mar one of the best resorts I could hope for in Goa. In addition to its fantastic location right on a sandy beach, it offered a lush garden with signing birds, spacious comfortable huts, a laid back serene atmosphere, a sea front restaurant, and welcoming staff. Throughout my 10 days stay there, I felt safe, looked after, and relaxed. Prices are also very affordable. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing!!! I had the best time ever. The staff was super helpful Special shout-out to Rajesh, Binad, Sajan, Kumar and Samuel, they were all super helpful. The place is super peaceful, it has great beach views and everything you need. Totally recommend

What a great bunch of guys - all from Nepal - very friendly - nothing too much trouble . Made me feel so welcome. Great chef food superb! Cabin over looking the beach basic but ok - lots of hot water for showers. Hotel is right on the beach with a beach shower too.

Visited for breakfast as fancied a change from the place I was staying. Had planned to have an Indian breakfast but was drawn in by the Swiss set breakfast… eggs, bacon, potato rosti with cheese, tomatoes and toast. Not disappointed at all and kept me full all day. Good coffee and a relaxing vibe to the place, service was good.

If anyone looking for a pet friendly resort in south Goa then without having any second doubt you can pick this place.I highly recommend as I have stayed here twice and the recent visit was on 08th Nov 24. Staffs will always make you feel comfortable and take care of every request till the time you check out. Food is awesome- You won't regret trying however if you are long stay then in and around there are lot of options available in case if you get bored. Thanks once again to Ram ,Samuel,Kumar ,Sajjan Bhai for great hospitality and Binod & Rajesh da for warm welcome. Hope to see you guys once again in future. Regards Rubina

We spent almost a week here and greatly enjoyed our stay. The guys who run the place are super friendly. You quickly feel part of the family. Highly recommend!. Also, the nearby Krishna Spa is really good. Great place on the beach!. 5he beach dogs are an added bonus!

We had 2 nights here and would highly recommend Sonho to others. I have stayed here twice before and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, well priced and delivered by the most attentive and pleasant staff. Vino has created a beautiful place to stay and his staff are very much a credit to him.

We arrived in Goa after a week of full on work in Delhi, it was hot & dusty, but our taxi (organised by the team at Sonho) whisked us south and to the village of Agonda. Upon arrival we greeted by the coolest dude in Goa & our new friend - Binod. We were hot and told to immediately chill and grab a beer, which was very needed. The view from the bar / restaurant area was spectacular, golden sands, beautiful ocean and of course the odd beach cow. Our air conditioned room was simple, clean & air conditioned. The simplicity of the place was exactly what we were looking for after residing at the Oberoi, Delhi for the previous week. Right now onto the important stuff. THE FOOD…. I love to cook (and run the Wye Supperclub in Kent - @wyesupperclub ) so I feel we are qualified to talk about the food. The food is brilliant, from indo-Chinese, to full Indian, the chicken Tikka was the best we ever tasted and no other restaurant got close to the food (maybe Sonho’s sister hotel / restaurant) in terms of flavour & freshness. Have the ice, eat the salad as everything is washed in filtered water - Like Binod said “why would we want sick customers” Book it, love it & and eat it - you won’t be disappointed. We left feeling like part of the family & we will be back!!! (The music there is pretty cool as well)…
