?????????? A Hidden Gem in Balapitiya! Splendour Residence truly lives up to its name! ?? A peaceful and well-maintained property, perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the coastal charm of Balapitiya. The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay smooth and pleasant. Just a short walk to the beach, with easy access to local attractions like Madu River and the Turtle Hatchery. Highly recommended for couples, families, or solo travelers. I’ll definitely be back!

Хочу написать отзыв о нашем волшебном отдыхе в отеле Сплендор?? От аэропорта Коломбо на трансфере мы ехали 1,5 часа до района Балапетия, в котором находится наш отель. По началу показался райончик так себе, он не на столько туристический, как например Хаккикадува или Мирисса. Отель расположен не на первой линии, а на горе, на берегу огромного озера, по которому можно взять экскурсию на лодке ( очень интересную кстати) или порыбачить! Отель небольшой, всего 6 номеров, но для нас, жителей мегаполиса, это огромный плюс!! Все очень чисто, уютно и по-домашнему)?? Хозяин отеля Нирошан и его жена Лакшми очень душевные люди! Они сами готовили нам завтраки( мы выбрали только на завтраках), на заказ можно было и пообедать и поужинать)! Всегда все очнь вкусно, огромные порции, цены отличные! Накрывают где тебе захочется- хочешь в ресторанчике, хочешь на веранде, хочешь в саду и у бассейна ?? Очень камерно, создается ощущение что ты один в отеле и все для тебя!) Как будто приехал к любимой бабушке! Номера огромные, все чисто, белье белоснежное, как и полотенца! Убираются как только захочешь( мы не мучали уборкой, целыми днями гуляли) Совершенно отсутствует сырость и плесень в номере, как бывает в странах Азии. До моря пешком дойти можно, но долго по жаре, поэтому из отеля курсирует тук-тук) за 800рупий -это 260? можно доехаиь до моря за минут 7 Мы брали машину в аренду и этой опцией не пользовались?? Так же ходили в море на морскую рыбалку с другом хозяина отеля, поймали барракуду и много других рыб- уйма впечатлений!??Хозяин сам приготовил потом из нашего улова нам ужин! 3 дня кушали разные блюда из нашей рыбы?? Бассейн очень чистый, находится в саду, в тени, что очень удобно! Мы утром на море купались, а когда там становилось жарко возвращались в наш оазис и купались в бассейне)! Хозяева накрывали нам обед прям возле бассейна!???? Вообще в начале февраля очень комфортная погода, дождя не было ни разу, не жарко и не сильно душно( в сравнении с Таем или Бали в это время) Что не маловажно- хозяева знают хорошо английский, так что нет проблем с общением) Также отдельное спасибо всему персоналу отеля, все очень внимательные и заботливые! Одним словом отель- это мой топ 1 на данный момент, отдохнули на все ?? Обязательно вернёмся сюда и надеюсь не раз еще! Спасибо огромное Нирошану и Лакшми за наш лакшери отдых!???? A little hidden gem we found to break up our trip between Tangalle and the airport. It’s off the beaten track, we came in via train and caught an Uber to the accomodation. We were upgraded to a larger suite on the top floor with stunning views.
The hotel was fantastic, set on magnificent grounds, the unassuming exterior descends into a modern accommodation block. Amazing views of the lake, we opted to eat our meals on the balcony soaking it all in with excellent room service, tasty breakfast and a bar / restaurant downstairs. We enjoyed the hospitality and the price point represents very good value for money. Great pool and outdoor space to relax in.
Absolutely perfect for a stop over as you venture through this wonderful country.

Wat een prachtig hotel met klasse! Alles is mooi hier. De lobby, het restaurant, de terrassen, het zwembad, de gigantisch ruime kamer met groot balkon en fantastische badkamer. De kunst is echt heel mooi en passend in de omgeving. We hebben echt genoten van het heerlijke eten. We voelden ons zeer welkom door de betrokkenheid van de gastheer en gastvrouw (tevens eigenaar) en het vriendelijke en kundige personeel. De rust, de ruimte en het geweldige uitzicht over het meer hebben ons goed gedaan.

We had a lovely visit to this beautiful hotel. The decor was amazing and the views were spectacular. Niroshan and his wife were wonderful hosts and they cooked a delicious lunch feast for us. We were able to have a picturesque boat ride after lunch. The hosts were so kind and caring and friendly. Thoroughly recommend staying here!

We went there for our anniversary celebration. We had an amazing experience with this hotel. Excellent service, delicious foods, friendly staff and all. Very tidy environment and big spacious rooms. Near in Madhu river..we had a great chance to go for a boat ride.. Highly recommended this place and service. Must visit!

Modern designed hotel directly at the lake From the rooms, to the pool, the food until the service , everything was perfect! The rooms have a glass front view to the lake and a big balcony, great facilities and location. The owners were the most friendly people and generous. It was my birthday and we enjoyed the stay and the cake. Great food and good food options, the owner is the chef cook and provides everything you need. A huge variety for breakfast and delicious food. in the lobby there is a bookshelve with books in many different languages, a nice bar and terrace on the sea. Definitely worth a visit. 5 stars! Will book again!

I have visited 28th and 29 September 2024. I had great experience with this hotel. Excellent service, foods, environment, staff, locations and all the things & very clean and big space rooms. Highly recommended this place and service. Must visit
