Pontresina is a charming and lively village, and like all hotels located along the central Via Maistra, some level of street activity is to be expected, especially during the summer months with open windows. During your stay, we made every effort to show you different room options, hoping to find a suitable solution. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet your request for complete silence in this central location – a challenge not uncommon in Alpine resort towns. Our booking and cancellation policies are clearly stated at the time of reservation and were accepted upon booking. While we always strive to accommodate individual needs, we are unable to waive these terms in the case of a short-notice departure. We regret that the unique character and timeless "grandezza" of our hotel – which so many of our guests deeply appreciate – did not align with your preferences. At the same time, we are grateful for your kind words about our friendly staff and superb breakfast.
