Unfortunately, the standard of the rooms are not what there were. We had a dirty bath towel left behind the bathroom door the chairs in the room were ripped. I could hear the fans all night and didnt sleep very well. However the food was lovely, a little more experience than the other pubs in the area.

We had dinner at the Inn with visiting family last weekend. I booked a room for my visitors, and they loved it. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and featured a large King-sized bed! We had drinks at the bar and dinner in the restaurant. The menu is good, and their steak and ale or chicken and leek pies were amazing. Beautifully mashed potatoes, veg and additional gravy to die for. The young lad serving was very good. We repeated the dining experience a few days later with other visiting friends. This time, it was their turn for the pies, and they gave the same glowing reviews.

The best Sunday lunch ever. Lovely environment, clean and welcoming. Really tasteful Christmas decoration. Could not fault the experience food was amazing and staff were so pleasant, friendly and helpful. Even our dog have a good time..

I have used this hotel for over 3 years now when visiting the North for work purposes. Consistently received fantastic hospitality with a superb dining experience. the rooms are large , spotlessly clean and have high quality fixtures and fittings. its a real find just of the beaten track.

The room was really nice for a family but we didn’t have enough towels or toiletries and the lamps had to be switched on at the wall. The staff were really nice and we enjoyed most of the food although service was often very slow and the pizza was overcooked.

Had a one night stay which I really enjoyed. Very spacious well furnished bedroom, lovely bathroom with large bath and Rain shower. Very good breakfast and good service. I’m coming back next year in July with 20 cycling friends from Australia.

Great hotel close to Morpeth. Large comfortable bedroom and decent sized bathroom with both bath and shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast after a quiet night’s sleep. Good value for money. Plenty of parking. I would definitely return and recommend.

Booked direct with the hotel for 1 night B&B. Easy to find off the A1, plenty of parking, check in desk was to the left as you enter the bar. Spacious double room on 1st floor with kingside bed was front facing the car park and grounds. Large Bathroom with a bath / shower. Welcome snack and usual complimentary tea coffee water. We had drinks in the bar and ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very nice Staff behind the bar and in the restaurant were very welcoming. Would look to stay here again when visiting the area.

We had a good stay overall. The hotel is lovely and rooms nice. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were amazing. Our only issue was that there was a very loud party also staying which were particularly loud late at night. I understand it's a difficult thing for the hotel to stop as they need to keep them happy too but they were loud for over an hour without any prompts to be quiet. Overall though would definitely stay again

Loved our room, lovely and spacious for my 2 year old to run back and forth. Bed was a bit high off the ground for us, but comfortable enough to sleep on quite well. Loved the rooftop courtyard. Food was great! Down points no phone in our room and no hot water on the night… but boilers always go off at the worst times.
