This was a late last minute booking after a very long drive. Estelle and Steve welcomed us at the door with freshly baked biscuits and a beautiful well equipped warm room. Breakfast was wonderful and supported our vegetarian preferences. Highly recommended place to stay great value

My girlfriend & I stayed here recently to combine a multi purpose trip (gig/break/work shift) & we were over the moon with Stover Lodge, the hosts Estelle & Steve just couldn't do enough for us & really made us feel welcome from the start & went above & beyond to accommodate an early shift at Torbay hospital by providing a very early breakfast & even a lift to the hospital. Our room was stunning with top facilities & left us wanting for nothing & breakfast was a solid 10/10, the perfect start to the day. There's literally nothing I would change about Stover Lodge & can't wait to visit again which we certainly will.

Just returned home from a 4 night stay at the Stover lodge Torquay. A beautiful place that is spotlessly clean and tastfully furnished, Marvelous breakfast, great produce cooked to perfection and a good sized portion. Hosted by Estelle and Steve who couldnt do enough for us. Lovely touch with home made cakes daily in the room with a most welcome feel throughout our stay. Well situated and free parking ticked all our requirements.

Spent a lovely 2 days at Stover lodge. Everything was perfect the room was immaculate with an extremely comfortable bed. Cleanliness throughout the Lodge was superb. The breakfast was cooked to perfection with a lovely selection to choose from. The hosts Steve and Estelle were brilliant and there was a nice little touch when sweet treats were left in the room each day. Wlilldefinitely stay there again.

My wife and I have stayed many times at Stover Lodge. This place is a real gem not only because of its fully equipped modern, comfortable and spotless accommodations or delightful breakfast or close by rail and bus services to all the resorts in Devon.....but more importantly because of the warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of its mangaement team in the past years and recently with Estelle and Steve. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and feel at home and that is why we spend our November anniversary at Stover Lodge. Masood and Jahan

My wife and I had planned a visit to Torquay to visit an old friend and also a former colleague. We felt Stover Lodge was well reviewed, and having stayed for three nights, we now understand why! It must be the best B&B we have visited for many years. Hosts Estelle and Steve did everything , and more, to make us feel at home. The whole place was very clean, our room was comfortable and well equipped, with a very good ensuite. The breakfast offered wide choices of tasty food - cereals, yoghurt, juices, hot food freshly cooked to order, and options of hot drinks! There's off road parking and close bus stops for a service to the harbour and Paignton or to Newton Abbott. It exceeded our expectations! If we were to return to Torquay, or if family or friends wanted a B&B in the cares, this would be our top choice or strong recommendation. WOW WOW WOW, what can we say apart from praise. We had an amazing stay at Stover Lodge, thank you to Estelle & Steve for another wonderful stay. They are excellent owners of this beautifully stunning b&b. The rooms are immaculately furnished, decorated and exceptionally clean. The beds are so comfortable. The homemade treats in the room daily are very welcoming. Steve’s breakfasts are delicious, plentiful & cooked beautifully, the specials are so much recommended. Thank you for making the birthdays so special. The lodge is ideally situated with a bus stop outside & across the road & Torre train station a couple of minutes walk down the road. Will definitely will be back very soon ??

Just arrived home from a 2 night stay and booked to go back before we left The place is spotless the room was beautiful and the hosts were very friendly the little touches made a massive difference breakfast was also delicious this young couple only took over in February and wow what a great job they are doing we wish you all the best

We had the absolute pleasure of staying with Estelle & Steve for 5 nights, and I can honestly say they are the greatest hosts we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble — I have mobility issues, and not once did I feel like anything was an inconvenience. Steve even went as far as helping me load my mobility scooter into the car — that’s the level of care and kindness they showed throughout our stay. Our ground floor room was beautiful: clean, fresh, with lovely bedding and the fluffiest towels. In fact, the entire place is spotless and clearly cared for with pride. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. Now, the breakfast… OMG! I’ll attach a photo, but honestly, I challenge anyone to eat it the second it arrives — it comes out piping hot and freshly cooked to order. Steve is a master in the kitchen, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I’ll be honest — B&Bs were never my first choice of accommodation, but that’s completely changed now. Thanks to this experience, we’re already planning our next visit to see Estelle & Steve again very soon. Huge thanks to Estelle, Steve & Taylor for such a wonderful week in the beautiful English Riviera!

We were made very welcome indeed, the hosts are lovely people, I mentioned it was my wife's birthday and they went out of there way to make it a memorable day, we couldn't have wished for better. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, pillows and mattresses comfortable for perfect nights sleep, just a 2 minute walk from Torre train station. A perfect two day break.
